I started VoteVets shortly after I returned home from my first tour in Iraq because it was clear to me that progressive veterans lacked a real voice in Washington, D.C.
Since then, VoteVets has fought tooth and nail on foreign and domestic issues that matter to veterans and military families, and we've spent millions of dollars to elect a new generation of progressive leaders to Congress.
Sometimes we win: Senator Tammy Duckworth, Reps Ted Lieu, Seth Moulton, and more. Sometimes we come up short, like we tried with Jason Kander last year. But whatever happens, it's only because of support from people like you.
So with an important deadline tonight at midnight, I have to ask:
We have stood up to President Trump in a way that no one else has since his election. But it's clear that we need some more help inside of Washington, D.C.
Your contribution helps make sure we'll get some reinforcements soon.
All my best,
Jon Soltz
