Act on climate
Speaker Pelosi is on the verge of handing Donald Trump a big victory. On Tuesday, she announced House Democratic leadership's support for Trump's NAFTA 2.0 trade deal, also known as the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement.
While the renegotiated agreement includes some improvements over the original NAFTA, it falls far short of what's needed on environmental issues, and it doesn't even include the word climate. At the same time, it won't stop the continued outsources of manufacturing jobs to Mexico.
The House is expected to vote on NAFTA 2.0 this week. On Monday, join Sierra Club and CREDO for a webinar to discuss the current status of the trade agreement, the ways in which it falls short of what's needed and what you can do to fight back. Limited space is available, so please RSVP now if you can join us.

There's no question that NAFTA is a disaster and that it must be replaced. But we believe that the next Democratic administration can negotiate a new trade agreement between the United States, Canada and Mexico that is better for both working people and the planet.
I hope you can join us on Monday's webinar to learn more and join the fight to stop Trump's NAFTA 2.0 trade deal.
Thanks for everything you do.
