NE landowners continue to fight Keystone XL Pipeline

Despite TransCanada reaching agreements with landowners in the five other states the northern section crosses, Nebraskan landowners are standing firm.
Jane Kleeb, Executive Director of Bold Nebraska, says there are still 115 landowners in the state who refuse to speak with TransCanada.
"If it wasn't for the stubbornness of the Nebraska landowners who are really opposed to this pipeline taking their land away from them through eminent domain, we would be without a fight. There's no question. National environmental groups recognize that. We here locally recognize that. It is their fight. It is their spirit," said Kleeb.
The State Department is still finalizing its environmental report. A decision from the President on the Pipeline could come as soon as March.
