Haven't we had enough LIES? Protect Veterans!

VoteVets.org

Last week, the Koch Brothers began running campaign ads highlighting a veteran who claims the Affordable Care Act (ACA) drove up his health care costs.

The ad deliberately misleads in its attempt to convince the viewer that the ACA specifically increases veterans health care rates. But, as we know, for other veterans receiving VA Care, nothing has changed, and the Act specifically exempts Tricare, as well.

But there are many veterans who do find insurance on their own, and their stories are important.

Are you one of the growing number of veterans or military family members who has found affordable health care for you or your family on the health care exchange, or via Medicaid expansion? Let us know.

Despite the fact that over 8 million individuals have signed up for Obamacare, the Tea Party is digging in on this issue.

In some states, like Virginia, legislatures are blocking the Medicaid expansion portion of the Affordable Care Act - denying coverage to almost 34,000 uninsured veterans in that one state alone.

And you already know about the dozens of votes Republicans in Congress have held to repeal the entire bill.

Let us know if you're a veteran or military family member who has signed up or qualified for better coverage under the ACA.

On this issue, like most others, the voices of veterans are critical to the debate. Just look at what the Koch Brothers are trying to do...

That's why your story is so important.

All the best,
