When President Donald Trump told CBS News’ John Dickerson “I don’t stand by anything,” he was saying he stands by his claim that President Obama wiretapped Trump Tower during the election, the White House translated Monday. Once again, it fell to Press Secretary Sean Spicer to try to make sense of Trump’s chaos. Stephen Colbert Gives Donald Trump the Interview He Truly Deserves
President Trump didn't show up at this year's White House Correspondents' Dinner, so we sadly missed out on the opportunity to see his reactions to getting roasted. But luckily for us, Stephen Colbert is here to deliver the searing burns. Near the end of his opening monologue Tuesday night, Colbert took Trump to task for bailing on an interview with CBS's Face the Nation when the questions got hard.
