Thousands of National Partnership supporters have already taken action by urging President Trump and Labor Secretary Acosta not to undermine the Obama administration’s overtime rule. The deadline for public comments is this Monday, and we really need you to speak out before it’s too late. Tell the Trump administration to protect overtime pay for millions of working people » For more than two years, the National Partnership teamed up with a broad coalition to support the Obama administration's overtime rule — a badly needed, long overdue rule designed to put an end to the days when people who are paid poverty wages could be forced to work overtime without any additional pay. That rule was a historic advance for fair pay and equal opportunity that strengthens overtime protections for families across the country, including 12.5 million workers, more than half of whom are women.  Unfortunately, President Trump and Secretary Acosta — as well as a federal court — are undermining this rule, and millions of people could lose overtime pay as a result. That’s why it’s time to take action. Right now. Urge President Trump and Secretary Acosta to protect workers and defend overtime protections. Thanks for all that you do.
