AG Jeff Sessions

What is particularly curious I noted at the hearings on Justice, Jeff Sessions doesn't seem to believe that any one of the surrogates had anything to do with the Russians accused of tampering in our Election, and acted quite dismissive as if it was all beneath eye level which for him which doesn't seem to take in anything above five feet....limiting his involvement it would seem. By the same token when Sheldon Whitehouse asked him that in the light of reports that the involvement was not yet over with the Russians; that they intended to get involved in our 2018 elections and the elections of 2020 and Sessions answer was: he didn't think they were doing anything about it. Since the alluded tampering with out Election may be the most important invasion by any foreign power into our affairs, and that by any measure is illegal, it seems rather how should we put it, that he is pulling out all the plugs to use the Justice Department to keep America safe. But it is more than his failure to do anything that bothers me, it is that he seems above the fray, that this is so unworthy, he can't really be bothered. And this is the man we've delegated that responsibility too. At the same time, that seems to be the attitude of his boss: A big deal about nothing. So what if they are poisoning our elections, building gulags all over, and declaring America a colony, it doesn't really amount to a hill of beans. This would be enough to drive most normal persons to an analyst. To some responsible for what happens, it is a dereliction of duty second to none!!! And yet, except for a few questioning Senators it's more or less treated like it's inconsequential. And to think I get to live through these times that would shock most societies into pieces and we take it like the paper boy forgot to deliver the daily news today. Blasé? More than that....More like Treason or not just collusion, but more like conspiracy.....And the Republicans think there's no case for emptying the White House and starting over? What planet am I living on?......
