Dear Friend,
The northernmost point on the planet is heating up more quickly than any other region in the world. The reason for this warming is ice–albedo feedback: as ice melts it opens up land and sea to the sun, which then absorb more heat that would have been bounced off by the ice, leading to more warming. It’s a vicious circle of warmth that’s changing the environment at the north pole.
Seven people, including four sanitation workers, died of suffocation while cleaning a hotel sewer in Gujarat. The men had entered the septic tank without any safety gear, news agency AFP reported. The incident took place at Darshan Hotel in Fartikui village of Dabhoi tehsil, about 35 km from Vadodara city.

Media Lying, Media Censorship & Australian Federal Police Raids On Media In Pre-Police State Australia
by Dr Gideon Polya
Recent Australian Federal Police (AFP) raids on News Corp and the taxpayer-funded Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) over leaks from Government about spying plans and Australian war crimes in Afghanistan, respectively, has led to legitimate expressions of outrage in Australia and around the world on this blatant attack on press freedom, truth-telling and freedom of speech. However this huge Mainstream media, politician and commentariat indignation hides a vastly greater crime of massive Mainstream Media and ABC lying by omission in a US-, UK- , Zionist- and Intelligence-subverted pre-Police State Australia.
2019 Parliamentary Poll Outcome: Drivers: Consequences An Exploration
by Sukla Sen
Modi 2.0 very much presents us with the looming threat of the dismantling of the “India” – embodying the values of “democracy”, “pluralism” and “egalitarianism”, that had been wrought out in the crucible of the epic freedom struggle and, in the process, finally emerged on the 15th August 1947 – in pursuance of a project to supplant it with a “Hindu Rashtra” (Hindu nation state) – by mobilising the Hindus of India as “Hindus”, drowning out all other identities linked to language, culture, gender, caste, class etc., constantly stoking hatred and violence against the constructed inimical “others”.

The 100 years old mosque in village Hedon Bet, Machhiwara Tehsil in Ludhiana still stands tall, despite zero Muslim population in the village. The Mosque that was built in 1920 lies abandoned for want of worshipers. Thanks to village elders the mosque has not been demolished or being encroached upon by the land grabbers. The elders of the village refuse to let anyone demolish it as they believe it’s a house of God.
Negligence of the elderly in an exploitative economic system
by Pradeep Baisakh
The study done by HelpAge India titled, “Elder Abuse in India: Role of family in care giving – challenges and responses” brings about some glaring facts about the state of care to the elderly in our society. The study, among other things, found out that 35% of the caregivers never felt happy looking after the elderly. Caregivers here mean mainly the son, daughter-in-law, daughter and son-in-law. Such findings raise some basic questions about our responsibilities toward our ageing parents.
Why PM Modi’s Concern for Muslims Rings Hollow?
by Aftab Alam
The statement of the PM Modi assumes significance for two reasons: firstly this came from a leader who himself led one of the most communally charged election campaigns in the electoral history of India specially targeting Muslims – largest religious minority community of the country on one pretext or another and, secondly it was about a community which is generally known not only for not voting BJP but also voting strategically to a party or candidate who is in a position to defeat it.

by Vidya Bhushan Rawat
I think it is the right of an individual to question and Pa Ranjith has done nothing wrong in making his analysis of the Chola Kingdom about whom a number of people have already written.
Indian Medical Association Strike: Hindu Nazi Doctors Body Despise the Poor
by Anandi Sharan
Indian Medical Association has over 325,000 doctors as its members. As with everything in India including the Republic itself, the upper castes inherited whatever the Brits left behind. There was no revolution to democratise society after Independence. Instead the ideology of this ruling upper class that took over was nothing other than the ideology of various professional associations be they lawyers, doctors, engineers or scientists: a mix of hypocrisy, self-aggrandisement, greed and class hatred of the majority of the people who are backward caste and tribes.

Reflections on How to Fight Hindutva
by Ajay Gudavarthy
The fight against Hindutva cannot be from the outside, it has to be from within. It has to get to the core structure of how it oscillates between the real and the unreal.
