On October 3rd, a very sunny and windy day, Germany hit a record peak of 59.1% of electric power being generated by renewables. The power grid was able to safely handle the influx of renewable energy, and what's more, electricity prices fell to incredible lows. Renewables are for sure leaving the (local and global) naysayers in the dustbin of history !!
