Cameras are now rolling on Citizens United, The Movie, taking on the issues of corporate personhood, money as speech , and more!
UPDATED VIDEO 2: We just uploaded the latest video preview from Citizens United, The Movie, showing off our now completely finished opening title montage with the James Madison voiceover, and authentic period scenes we shot with the kind cooperation of Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation.
And that leads directly into our main founding fathers scene, where we already have a first edit of the green screen footage. and you can see how we are starting to lay in the background shots. By following this page you can literally watch the movie magic come together as it happens! The actors, the costumes, the hair and makeup, it's all amazing. We've also sketched in a musical idea, but of course that will be more developed when we do the score.
It's a very labor intensive process to do it so it is absolutely realistic, but our next job is to finish compositing the green screen edited video above with the true to historical life background shots we have already acquired, thanks to your support, for example this one.

And we also have in the can our Supreme Court justices scene in the Supreme Court robing room, and we are working up that footage as well as fast as we can. Your kind donations have already financed the backgrounds for those cuts, done by one of the top architectural visualization artists in the world, for example this one.

The excitement already building around this project is catching the attention of all of Hollywood. We put out some casting listings on the main industry conduit for that and got over 5,000 submissions for just two of our roles, from all the top agents and managers in the business. The competition to get into this movie is fierce, because the characters are fascinating, and everyone loves the script excerpts we've released so far.
And this is just the start. In this ground-breaking DRAMATIC narrative movie, we will tell the story of an activist group fighting for corporate accountability, while they struggle with the wrongful entrapment of some of their members.
Our plan is to jump into the main part of the shoot no later than about the end of July. But to keep up our momentum we need your help, and we have tons of great rewards for you.

We have a track record of completing major projects as evidenced by our screener DVD of the now ready for release full length feature dramatic film, The Last War Crime, for example.
All the rewards for our first Kickstarter project were delivered almost as quickly as we could determine the mailing addresses for doing so.
