New Mexico voters sent a smart Senator to Washington of whom they should rightly be proud!
Here's his email, try the quiz:
Here’s a question for you: how many chemicals have been banned by the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) of 1976?
Don’t feel bad if you have to Google the answer. It’s five.
How many new chemicals developed since 1976 have been banned from entering the market under TSCA?
That answer is just as surprising: Four.
TSCA is badly in need of reform. Take our quiz to test your knowledge and see just how outdated this law is.
Here’s the good news -- I’ve submitted a bipartisan plan to update and modernize TSCA. It’s not easy to get bipartisan support on much of anything these days, but this is really commonsense stuff.
So if you have a moment, take our quiz and see what you know about chemical safety in America. Then share it with your friends.
Thanks, and good luck!
