American workers know what happens when Congress gets free trade wrong. International corporations get handouts, while our workers get sold out. That’s why my colleagues and I are so concerned about “fast-tracking.”
If “fast-tracking” is adopted, the Senate will no longer be able to amend trade agreements. That’s bad news for American workers and for our economy.
The stakes in this fight are high, and we need your help before midnight tonight. Add your voice to ours now and tell Congress not to fast track “fast-tracking.”
After the collapse of 2008, our economy is finally on the mend. Congress should be focused on promoting smart legislation to help our economy continue growing, not secretive trade deals that will cut our recovery off at the knees.
“Fast-tracking” will hurt working families while benefiting big corporations that ship American jobs overseas.
Demand Congress put a stop to “fast-tracking” immediately.
Thank you for all of your support.
