"The fact is, Ted Cruz’s father is a dangerous religious fanatic and Ted – who you will remember Bryan Fischer compared to the prophet Elijah – thedominionist messiah. Together what these two desire instead to establish a system of government that is designed to squeeze wealth from the masses and funnel it into the coffers of the rich (a sort of reverse trickle-down) and to control those masses with the Religious Right’s hypocritical form of Christianity, which sanctifies such endeavors with a false veneer of holiness.
That this sad abortion of a religion is completely (and demonstrably) in violation of the teachings of their putative Lord, Jesus Christ – at least insofar as the views of Jesus of Nazareth are accurately reflected in the gospels – seems to bother them not at all. Nor does it bother them to lie and bear false witness, a violation of the Ten Commandments they pretend to hold dear"

When public services are privatized it usually benefits corporations and polluters, not people and the planet. Does this seem fair to you?
Senator Edward J. Markey knows that climate change and access to energy can exacerbate already tense situations around the world – with major implications for US foreign policy. That’s why he is drawing attention to these connections and calling for action. Check out his remarks at a recent hearing and find out more about his efforts:http://1.usa.gov/UonekG
Does anyone listen to him any more? Does anyone know where Heartland's $$$ comes from?
Do you agree?
And when you don't teach history, who's to know?

Always ask questions. Always confirm the facts.
We couldn't agree more.
Seriously - how stupid do they think we are?

If you agree, like this and share this post. And, maybe we can spread a little truth about the accomplishments of President Obama.
THE SPREADING RIPPLES
OF ONE SKIPPED STONE
OF ONE SKIPPED STONE
Back on June 18th, the Michele Bachmann quote/photo below reached over 1.2 million people. Almost 89,000 folks liked, shared and commented on the post.
Facebook calls it “engagement” or “people talking about this.” For UCubed, it’s the spreading ripples of a skipped stone.
When UCubed fans engage, the stone hits the water for the first time. With the Bachmann quote/photo, the stone kept skipping. Non-fans got engaged, and hit their share button – 9,000 times!
Between now and Election Day, UCubed will skip hundreds of stones. We will reach 226,000 of our fans with each toss. But, if the stones hit at just right angle, we will see ripples spreading out from where they touch the water three, four or five times.
So keep hitting that SHARE button. YOU can -- and will -- alter the direction of this midterm election.

Let's get one thing straight…
HUGE NEWS! In a resounding victory that will ripple across the nation, New York’s highest court has just upheld the right of towns to ban fracking within their borders! Our attorneys represented the small town of Dryden, NY in a furious legal battle with the oil and gas industry, and in the end justice prevailed! http://ow.ly/ysvk3
Dryden’s defiant stance in the war against fracking has already inspired hundreds of communities across the country – from Texas to California – to enact their own fracking bans. The movement is catching fire but the oil and gas industry has tried time and time again to extinguish the people’s will. We hope this huge court victory in New York will embolden even more communities across America to stand up to fracking even when their federal and state officials refuse to!

The results of the Republican war on science and education are obvious. Republicans in congress have made it simple to have a gun but economically prohibitive to stay in school. I guess they can make more money sending children to for profit prisons that making sure kids have the resources to get an education.
If this was the U.S. Olympic medal count rank, Americans would probably be more outraged...
