A volunteer writes: There's something very soft and tender about Macchino that makes me want to pick him up and hold him in my arms forever. It could how velvety his gray and white fur feels when I pet him, or the kitten-like way he rubs his head into my palm to score affection. Or perhaps it's how he sleeps in the back of his kennel, curled up in a fuzzy ball with his paws tucked into his body. Whatever it is, this former house cat really tugs at my heartstrings. Come up to 110th Street to meet him today, and I bet you'll fall in love with him too.

P:0649 Midnight became rope aggressive when attempting to put the collar on for the SAFER assesssment, body tense, hard eyes and growls at the Assessor. A rabies pole had to be used to gain control with Midnight and when placing him back into his Kennel, he attempts to bite the Assessor threw the Kennel door. He did not calm down and do to this behavior, no assessment or partial assessment was attempted at this time.
