Why would anyone support a political party that allows our infrastructure to crumble, children to go hungry and poverty to increase?
Is that the 'Big Government' they oppose?

We're working hard to encourage states to make it easier for military spouses -- often teachers and nurses -- to transfer their certifications across state lines. And we're proud to have so many private sector partners committed to increasing the number of veterans they hire.
From a big initiative to a small gesture, Memorial Day is the perfect time to offer a simple act of kindness to our veterans and military families. You can send a message of thanks to our troops or a military family. Or pledge hours of service. Or even start your own volunteer project. And afterwards, please share your story -- we want to hear about it!

GOP Terrorism: Republicans are crumbling our infrastructure by protecting millionaires from a 0.7 tax increase
In July 2012, Elizabeth Warren asked in an ad why we aren’t rebuilding because our nation’s infrastructure needs attention. The fact is, in 2011 every single Republican voted against President Obama’s infrastructure plan which would have created jobs for the American people. Just this March, Obama called on Congress to provide $21 billion for infrastructure construction, including improvements to existing roadways.
existing roadways.
In addition to the Senate Republicans, one Democrat and an Independent added to the wall of obstruction in 2011: Democrat Ben Nelson of Nebraska and former Democrat Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., who still aligns with the party.
The Democratic plan, which was basically the second significant part of President Obama’s proposed jobs package, would have provided $60 billion for transportation infrastructure funding and would be paid for with a 0.7 percent tax on millionaires. That’s where Republicans stepped in to defend the wealthy while our nation crumbled.
$27 billion was to spent on highways. $9 billion for mass transit, $2 billion for airports and $10 billion for innovative financing initiatives. The measure also includes $10 billion for the creation of a national infrastructure bank to direct federal resources for infrastructure to projects that demonstrate the most merit and may be difficult to fund under the current patchwork of federal programs.
The measure would have created hundreds of thousands of jobs.
Gov. Jay Inslee declared a state of emergency in Washington’s northwestern counties of Skagit, Snohomish and Whatcom, noting that the highway is a major conduit and its closure — for a “significant period” — will hurt the area’s economy and its residents, CNN reports.
Coincidentally, we published a post about this very issue on the 20th, a few days before the bridge collapsed in Washington. We felt that the Republicans inaction to vote for our country’s infrastructure was an act of betrayal to the American people.
If a private citizen or foreign entity intentionally caused the bridge to collapse, they would be deemed as terrorists.
