Boston Red Sox Go Solar!

Little noticed by fans ---

groSolar helps keep the Boston Red Sox HOT!
Solar Hot Water System installation is the first in the Major League

On the same day that Boston Red Sox pitcher Jon Lester pitched his no-hitter, Fenway Park, home of the World Champion Boston Red Sox, also had another great achievement - a new solar hot water (SHW) system installed and provided by groSolar. The system comprises 28 Heliodyne flat plate solar hot water collectors and four storage tanks. The solar-heated water will supply the park and the restaurants on the lower levels of Fenway. "We are honored to assist Fenway and the City of Boston in their drive to turn Bean Town into Green Town" says groSolar's Marketing Director, Kelli Pippin. This is the first solar hot water system on any major league ballpark, but we're sure it's not the last one.

Solar hot water can be the most effective solution for some customers, which is why groSolar both sells and distributes solar hot water technology. "So many solar dealers and distributors focus just on PV, leaving customers, opportunities, and energy savings behind", says groSolar's CEO Jeff Wolfe.

groSolar provides systems and equipment to support our partners with all the right solutions for them. We provide solar hot water for all sizes of projects through both our direct and distribution channels. renewable energy

Great story.

The technology - while maybe not ideal - is more than sufficient to achieve significant energy and $$ savings.
