Letter to Local Officials from the Lieutenant Governor

On behalf of Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito, please find the following letter and executive order committing to increased communication between state and municipal government through the establishment of the Community Compact Cabinet. Designed to develop mutual standards, reduce the strain of regulation on cities and towns and identify major cost drivers within municipalities and school districts, the Cabinet's efforts will also include an upcoming survey intended to spark dialogue directly between the Administration and local officials from across the Commonwealth.
