CounterCurrents: Will This "Ripple" Die Out In This Critical Time?

The past few days have been very depressing for me. I guess it was the same for the keen readers of Countercurrents.org too. One after another, stark warnings were reported in the Climate Change front. My thoughts were like is everything lost? Have we no escape route?

Then yesterday, I remembered an African proverb.  "If many little people in many little places do many little deeds they can change the face of the Earth". I wrote that in yesterday's news letter too. Yes, Countercurrents.org is a ripple. Together we create this ripple. Ripples can die out or gather into a wave or even into a tsunami that can topple the unmoving, unloving, uncaring predatory capital system. We have to act urgent and gather momentum. There's no time to lose. 

As I write this, this ripple called Countercurrents.org is under threat of extinguishing. You know if we have take Countercurrents.org forward, it needs time, energy, persistent hard work and in the present scheme of things,  of course money. It's over month we started our fundraising campaign. We managed to raise Rs 6.5 lakhs or $ 11000. We have to raise another Rs 3.5 lakhs or $ 4000 to keep Countercurrents.org going for another year. 

It's a do or die time, not just for us human species but for all the other species on earth.
