RSN IS NOT A SERVICE - When you “donate” to Reader Supported News, you are doing just that, donating. There is only one good reason to donate: because you believe the work RSN is doing makes a difference. Specifically, we cannot guarantee that because you make a monthly donation, you will receive your RSN newsletters. We can send the newsletters to you, but your Internet Service Provider (ISP) decides if they will be delivered to your inbox. If your ISP does not deliver your RSN newsletters then you will not get them. Often they do not. Even if you have a monthly donation set up to RSN, you still get fundraising appeals. To provide service to donors but not to non-donors would make us no better than your cable company and more importantly it would undermine our mission, which is social justice and progress.
