Yes, What Israel Is Doing To Palestinians Is Actually Genocide.

This is the parasite Jewish state that steals a cool chunk from every paycheck you get. This article is from 2015 but some Israelis are calling for this "enlightened Defence Minister" Lieberman to be PM of Israel which basically means he will be the real POTUS. Yeah, the same guy who wants to behead gentiles.
To be fair, I think Rottenyahu is just more polished than Lieberman. The Israeli government is all about slaughtering, looting and exploiting gentiles

About this website

This post has been updated with information about the violent threats against lawmaker Haneen Zoabi given renewed impetus by Lieberman’s comments.
Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman has taken his campaign of violent incitement against Palestinians to new extremes with a call for those disloyal to Israel to have their heads chopped off.
He also repeated his long-standing demands for expulsion of Palestinian citizens of Israel.
“Anyone who’s with us should be given everything – up to half the kingdom. Anyone who’s against us, there’s nothing to do – we should raise an axe and cut off his head; otherwise we won’t survive here,” Lieberman said at an election event Sunday, in reference to Palestinian citizens of Israel.
According to Israel’s Mako news website, Lieberman made his comments in an interview with journalist Udi Segal during the “Electing Democracy in 2015” conference at IDC Herzliya, an Israeli college.
There are about 1.5 million Palestinians, survivors and descendants of those who escaped expulsion from present-day Israel in 1948, who are nominally citizens of Israel. Palestinians commemorate this ethnic cleansing, which they call the Nakba (Arabic for “catastrophe”) every year on 15 May.
While they have a vote in Israel’s upcoming election, Palestinian citizens of Israel face relentless legal and social discrimination and violent incitement and calls for expulsion.

Lieberman wants ethnic cleansing

“There’s no reason for Umm al-Fahim to be part of the State of Israel,” Lieberman said in reference to a large town in the north of present-day Israel with a predominantly Palestinian population. “Citizens in the State of Israel who fly a black flag on Nakba Day – as far as I’m concerned they should go away, and I’ll donate them to Abu Mazen with great joy.”
Lieberman’s reference to “donating” Palestinian citizens of Israel to “Abu Mazen” – the Palestinian Authority’s leader Mahmoud Abbas – amounts to a renewed call for ethnic cleansing.
The Israeli foreign minister, who heads the extreme anti-Palestinian Yisrael Beiteinu party, has a long history of violent incitement. In a recent Facebook posting, Lieberman called for the execution of Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.
According to polls, Lieberman’s party is set to lose seats at the upcoming 17 March parliamentary election. His comments may be an effort to galvanize Israel’s anti-Arab vote, which has been drifting to other openly genocidal parties such as Naftali Bennett’s party Habayit Hayehudi (Jewish Home).
It is not only Israel’s right-wing politicians who appeal to voters with incitement to violence against Palestinians; Israel’s ostensible left does it as well. In a recent election ad, Yitzhak Herzog, head of Israel’s allegedly dovish Labor Party, accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of not hitting Gaza hard enough.
In a 51-day assault last summer, Israel committed numerous war crimes, devastating Gaza and leaving more than 2,200 people dead.
Lieberman’s latest violent incitement will feed comparisons frequently made between Israel – the self-declared “Jewish state” – with ISIS (or ISIL), the self-declared “Islamic State” notorious for its brutal beheadings of hostages in the areas it occupies in Iraq and Syria.

Renewed threats against Arab lawmaker

(via Arabs 48)

Amid Lieberman’s call for axe murders, this image has been circulating among Israeli social media users. It shows a person dressed like “Jihadi John,” the executioner seen beheading hostages in Islamic State videos.
He is holding a knife at the neck of a person wearing a mask of the face of Haneen Zoabi, a Palestinian member of the Israeli parliament.
It is unclear when the image, which was submitted anonymously to the Israeli satirical website mizbala.com, was created. The Israeli website published it on 8 March, condemning it as a “provocation.” It may have been a Purim costume created before Lieberman’s comments, but his words apparently gave it new relevance for those bent on inciting hatred.
Zoabi is the frequent target of violent incitement by Israeli Jewish extremists who oppose her calls for legal and social equality for Palestinian citizens of Israel.
Recently, Israel’s electoral commission tried to ban her from running in next week’s elections.
Zoabi was physically attacked last week while she took part in an election campaign event.
The publication Arabs 48, which serves Palestinian citizens of Israel, says that the circulation of the image and the attack on Zoabi, amid rising levels of anti-Arab incitement, are increasing fears for her safety.

In the Israel/Palestine conflict, is Israel guilty of genocide against the Palestinians?
Yes– absolutely.
The other day I wrote a short piece on why the Bible does not command us to blindly stand with the modern state of Israel, and one of the points I made is that Israel is guilty of genocide. There were no shortage of internet commenters who objected to my use of this word and felt it was over the top. However, I stand by my assertion that Israel is guilty of genocide, so allow me to expand upon that.
I believe the main reason many push back on the idea that Israel is guilty of genocide is because of a lack of understanding of the full nuance of the word, and what genocide can look like in a modern context. While rounding up people for mass executions would be obvious evidence of genocide, the reality is that genocide can take place in ways that are more subtle– making it palatable for the masses, and even seem justified at times.
Some scholars have referred to the Israel/Palestine conflict as “incremental genocide” and I would agree with that term. Instead of an overt, blatant attempt to eradicate a people group, incremental genocide involves actions and policies that are designed to slowly erode, break up, and destroy a specific population. Think for example of early American history and the genocide of Native Americans. While it wasn’t always mass killings, genocide occurred by military conflict, expanding land holdings, resettlements, and creating conditions that were destructive for the indigenous population. While it took many years to complete, and while it took many forms, what early Americans did to the indigenous people of North America was nothing short of genocide.
The same holds true for Israel.
The legal definition of genocide includes the following:
“Acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group such as:
(a)        Killing members of the group;
(b)        Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c)        Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part.”
While A and B are both elements we find present in Israel’s approach to Palestinians, the key aspect of genocide being waged by Israel is found in C: the deliberate infliction of conditions that in part or as a whole will destroy a people group. Arab Christians and Muslims known as Palestinians have been undoubtedly the target of Israel and a desire to eradicate them from the land.
When Israel was created it resulted in an instant crisis for the Christians and Muslims who had lived together quite peacefully for hundreds and hundreds of years. Even today there are somewhere around 3.5 to 4 million Palestinian refugees who wish to have the right to return to their homes and land– a request that will never be granted by Israel.
For those who remain in Palestinian territory, they might as well be living in a massive open-air prison, because they live under the occupation of a foreign army. Children are routinely tear gassed on the way to school. Imports are severely restricted, with even basics like water being tightly controlled. Their rights of passage are severely curtailed– families have been broken up and people have died at military checkpoints because they were delayed or denied passage to access critical medical care.
To top it all off, what little land Palestinians have left is under systematic erosion by Israeli policy. Illegal Israeli settlements continue to crop up in Palestinian territory, in violation of international law. These illegal settlements, in addition to literally confiscating land from indigenous people, often bring violence to the Palestinians who live there. Even just a brief youtube search will bring up countless examples of women and children being assaulted by illegal settlers, or examples like Palestinian farms being attacked and destroyed at harvest time.
Let’s not be dishonest in the ultimate goal here: it is to rid the land of Palestinians.
Capture their land. Develop policies to evict them from their houses. Send in settlers and soldiers to colonize what land they still have. Refuse to let refugees back. Make them miserable under military rule. Limit their access to basic, life-sustaining resources.
The goal? Be not deceived: this is ethnic cleansing.
Do the Palestinians ever fight back and use violence? Yes, of course. This is equally wrong. It is also highly ineffective because it plays right into the hands of Israel, who uses this as an excuse to respond with utterly overwhelming military violence, such as arresting and incarcerating children accused of throwing rocks, or wiping out entire communities in the name of self-defense, such has been seen in Gaza.
So here’s where we’re at: Many of the indigenous people were displaced upon the creation of the modern state of Israel, and the number of displaced people has continued to grow. They are refugees who live in poverty and painful conditions at refugee camps. Israel has systematically expanded its borders to functionally capture more and more land that belonged to Palestinians. Of what’s left, Palestinians have to suffer under a brutal military occupation where so many aspects of life are restricted or deprived. To top it all off, Israel continues to expand illegal settlements into Palestinian territory, further creating conditions designed to break up and destroy the will of Palestinians to even exist.
That folks, is genocide. It is incremental, slow-motion genocide. If the international community continues to turn a blind eye, it will do nothing short of ensure the complete destruction and or displacement of the Palestinian people.
Is calling this genocide over the top? No, it’s not. It’s genocide. Legally. Morally. It’s genocide.
It’s just happening in slow motion, so the world doesn’t see it.
(And it’s being done by the people we’re told are God’s favorite, so we don’t even want to see it.)

CounterCurrents: A Deflation Tsunami Building Up In India, A Cabinet Of Generals: Trump Appoints John Kelly To Lead Department Of Homeland Security

Dear Friend,

It is becoming absolutely clear that India is going into a deflationary spiral after the demonetisation of high denomination notes on November 8. A Tsunami is building up from rural India which will devastate the whole of India.

Angry farmers in Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh are dumping tomato on highways. The reason? They are getting 50 rupees for a 100 kg batch of tomato. That means they are getting 50 paise for a kilogram of tomato. Ironically, 50 paise is practically out of circulation in India. I've written a story explaining the implications and possible fall out of this deflation.

Our #HumansOfDemonetisedIndia campaign continues with the story of a farmer from Odisha. He says people of the remote districts of Koraput and Kalahandi may not be even aware of the note ban.

President elect Trump is putting together a team of military hawks as his cabinet team. Latest to join the team is retired Marine General John Kelly to head the Department of Homeland Security.

Also more stories from around the world.

If you don't mind, and if you think the content of this news letter is critical for the dignified living and survival of humanity and other species on earth, please forward it to your friends and spread the word. It's time for humanity to come together as one family! You can subscribe to our news letter here http://www.countercurrents.org/news-letter/.

Tomato At 50 paise/Kg! A Windfall or Disaster?

#HumansOfDemonetisedIndia: Nabakishore Pradhan, Farmer From Odisha

http://www.countercurrents.org/2016/12/08/humansofdemonetisedindia-nabakishore-pradhan-farmer-from-odisha/

My name is Nabakishore Pradhan. I am a farmer from Odisha. My family is dependent on our agricultural produces and now is suffering due to demonetization. I cannot get loan from the banks to tend to our farming needs. My relatives do not have money to avail medical facilities. In every field of life, we are suffering. Life has come to a standstill. As a society too, we are suffering collectively. In Koraput and Kalahandi, there are people who still are not fully informed about the implications of demonetization. Hence, they have not found a way to exchange their currency notes which they have saved since long. They are now doing barter trade instead, to overcome the hurdles. Such dire situation is unfortunate…I do not think this problem is going to go away for at least another couple of years. The government’s stress on e-payment is of little use for most people in our country who are not that aware of the nuances of online business and many people will be cheated by frau
dulent
activities in coming days. This decision is extremely dangerous for our society.

Prime Minister: India needs A Social And Not A Digital Revolution
by A concerned Citizen

http://www.countercurrents.org/2016/12/08/prime-minister-india-needs-a-social-and-not-a-digital-revolution/

Prime Minister, it is not the digital revolution that India requires but the Social revolution. It is not the cashless-ness but the end of social lawless-ness that is required urgently. In the India that you are trying to build, forget cashless-ness, but social lawless-ness has definitely increased. We are seeing increasing incidents of deaths and physical harassments taking place in the name of cow protection and beef. We are increasingly witnessing the vigilante groups moving freely and harassing people – whether Dalits, Minorities in the name of protection of a culture, which you define as Hindutva. Intolerance has only grown. In the digital pathway that you are laying, you are also sowing the seeds of social lawless-ness at a rapid pace.

Demonetisation And Gandhi
by Nivedita Dwivedi

http://www.countercurrents.org/2016/12/08/demonetisation-and-gandhi/

The demonetisation move led to the disruption in the life of millions (most of them from the poorer sections of society), and hundreds lost their lives. But the interesting thing in all this is that this move is being hailed and projected as the most democratic move ever made, because it is being proclaimed to have been carried out in the name of the masses and for the whole and sole benefit of the masses. How further from the truth could one really get? Coming back to the question of democracy and violence, is this not the practice of the worst kind of violence possible?

‘Mitron’ Fact Is Stranger Than Fiction
by Mirza Yawar Baig

http://www.countercurrents.org/2016/12/08/mitron-fact-is-stranger-than-fiction/

I discovered a new word: Mitron. It means, ‘A large group of unsuspecting people about to be hit by something they will take a long time to recover from.’ Ironically it comes from the Hindi word – Mitron (Mitr = friend. Mitron = of friends). I believe we are in a Mitron moment; the discovery of a word and an experiential understanding of its true meaning.

President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team announced yesterday it will nominate retired Marine General John Kelly to head the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Kelly is the third ex-military general slated for a top cabinet position. His nomination follows those of James Mattis for Secretary of Defense and Michael Flynn for National Security Advisor.

Fatah, Hold Your Applause: Palestinian Body Politic Rotten To The Core
by Dr Ramzy Baroud

http://www.countercurrents.org/2016/12/08/fatah-hold-your-applause-palestinian-body-politic-rotten-to-the-core/

In July 2003, the then Palestinian Authority Chairman, Yasser Arafat, described Mahmoud Abbas as a ‘traitor’ who “betrayed the interests of the Palestinian People.” Arafat loathed Abbas to the very end. This particular outburst was made during a meeting with the United Nations envoy, Terje Larsen. The meeting took place a few months after Arafat was coerced, by the US, Israel and other Western powers to appoint Abbas as Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority.

The Plan To Gaza-ify The Colombian Peace Process

This important article is by the Colombian economist and activist Héctor Mondragón and argues that Colombia’s landowning elite are not interested in peace, even though negotiators have gone to great lengths to placate them. Originally in Spanish – translated by Justin Podur.

See How We Live
by Kathy Kelly

http://www.countercurrents.org/2016/12/08/see-how-we-live/

Today we met with Kubra, Latifah, Shekibah and Naima, four local seamstresses struggling to get by in alarmingly simple dwellings, and I mentioned that many in the U.S. believe the war has allowed the U.S. government to help and protect women in Afghanistan. All four women disagreed, insisting that any aid from outside Afghanistan goes to people who will never share it with the needy.

Tough-Talking Philippine President Duterte

There is a sense of change in those narrow and desperate alleys of the Baseco slum in the Philippines’ capital Manila. For the first time in many years a beautiful, noble lady visited; against all odds she decided to stay. Her name is Hope.

Exploiting Terrorism For Economic Gains
by Nauman Sadiq

http://www.countercurrents.org/2016/12/08/exploiting-terrorism-for-economic-gains/

In order to understand the hype surrounding the phenomena of Islamic radicalism and terrorism, we need to understand the prevailing global economic order and its prognosis. What the pragmatic economists forecasted about the free market capitalism has turned out to be true; whether we like it or not. A kind of global economic entropy has set into motion. The money is flowing from the area of high monetary density to the area of low monetary density.

Sanathan Sanstha, being probed for bomb blasts and assassination of three great democratic-secular intellectuals of India, Narendra Dhabolkar, Govind Pansare and MM Kalburgi, is an offshoot (or vice versa) of Hindu Janajaguriti Samiti (HJS) which has openly been demanding conversion of democratic-secular India into a Hindu rashtra and celebrating ‘vadh’ of Gandhi ji.

Kashmir: Subjugation, Not“Normalcy”!

Grassland Shrinkage Posing Threat To Endangered Pygmy Hog In Barnadi Wildlife Sanctuary Of Assam
by Shajid Khan

http://www.countercurrents.org/2016/12/08/grassland-shrinkage-posing-threat-to-endangered-pygmy-hog-in-barnadi-wildlife-sanctuary-of-assam/

Rapid shrinkage and degradation of the grasslands of the Barnadi Widlife Sanctuary of Udalguri of Assam pose a serious threat to the long-term survival of the critically-endangered pygmy hog that was reintroduced to the sanctuary six months back that were captive breeded in state capital Guwahati.
