As bad as this healthcare bill now before the nation is, we really shouldn’t be surprised. It’s a vivid expression of who Republican members of Congress really are at their core, collectively. It is as revolting as it is revealing.
So bad, in fact, that some of the Republican soldiers ordered to facilitate the killing, literally, of millions of low-income Americans are refusing to carry out those orders.
The bill is a blatant attempt to restore the American robber-baron class and cast the nation back into the kind of despotism not seen since the 1930s.
For these charlatans masquerading as lawmakers, all rides on illusion, “the big lie.” More precisely, big pack of lies, stacked like a house of cards.
Men like Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan don’t often gain any real power, for good reason. But when they do, they rush to cash in.
The popular rise of Donald Trump has created an opening for McConnell, Ryan, and their ilk to drink from a fountain they should never have been able to reach. However, as they quench their thirst, they reveal their true intentions in a way that would have remained hidden without the opening Trump created.
But what if the people rendering unto them their blind faith actually woke up and saw this game for what it is? What if the nation were at long last able to cut through the social division and red-herring issues and see with clarity, at long last, these con men standing naked with their greed exposed for all the world to see?
Looks like Mitch McConnell might have just got his face stuck in the cookie jar.

Many Republicans have been extremely hesitant about supporting the investigation into the connections between President Trump’s campaign and Russia. It seems, though, that their reasoning for this resistance has less to do with their faith in Trump and more to do with their eagerness to hide their own Russia ties.
Thanks to the hard work of Democratic pundit Scott Dworkin, it’s beginning to look like every Republican politician has some kind of link to Russia.
Over the last few months, Dworkin has revealed that several Republican senators — including John McCain, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio — have accepted money from Russian donors. He also produced evidence of even more connections a couple of weeks ago that were shared by Palmer Report.
In May, Dworkin found documents that link Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to a super PAC that accepted $2.5 million from a “pro-Putin Ukrainian businessman.” He shared photos of the documents on Twitter, along with the following message:

Dworkin also found that McConnell is not the only person who has benefited from a pro-Putin businessman. He tweeted a couple of days later photos of documents that show Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker also received money from this “pro-Putin” individual during the last election cycle.

The corporate interests are at it again. Monsanto, agribusiness and the bio-tech industry have spent hundreds of millions of dollars trying to overturn legislation passed by Vermont, Connecticut, Maine and Alaska that calls for the labeling of GMO food. In fact, they are moving aggressively now because Vermont's strong law goes into effect today.
This legislation is important because people have a right to know what is in the food they and their children eat. The more information we have, the better consumers we become. This is not a radical idea. It is why over 60 countries around the world have passed GMO labeling laws.
Unfortunately, the major agribusiness and bio-tech companies disagree. They do not believe people have a right to know what's in the food they eat. That is why they have spent hundreds of millions of dollars in lobbying and campaign contributions to overturn the GMO right-to-know legislation that states have already passed and that many other states are on the verge of passing.
A bill in the Senate would overrule Vermont's law, and prevent states from passing similar laws. This bill, introduced by Senators Pat Roberts (R-KS) and Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) will be coming up for a vote on Wednesday or Thursday of next week. It must be defeated.

Their goal is to deny states the right to go forward in this area and to pass legislation that is useless and with no value to consumers. And, if we don't stop them, they may just succeed.
On Thursday evening, with no hearings and no debate, a corporate-backed bill was introduced on to the floor by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
This legislation would create a confusing, misleading and unenforceable national standard for labeling GMOs. Instead of a uniform labeling standard like Vermont’s law, the language allows text, symbols, or an electronic code to be used. This is intentionally confusing to consumers, and the information may be entirely inaccessible if the consumer does not have access to the internet.
Perhaps most shockingly, this bill imposes no penalties whatsoever for violating the labeling requirement, making the law essentially meaningless. Thus, this is a weak bill, full of loopholes, without any requirement to comply.
The issue of labeling our food isn’t controversial. The overwhelming majority of Americans favor GMO labeling. People have a right to know what is in the food they eat. The Senate shouldn't stop states from passing laws that let that happen.
Congress must stand up to the demands of Monsanto and other multi-national food industry corporations and reject this outrageous, weak, and confusing bill. I will continue to do my best to defeat it, and take the necessary action to protect Vermont’s GMO labeling efforts. But I need you with me in order to ensure its defeat.

She publicly declared that she is not afraid of the Clintons.
Lizzie, on the other hand, gave fiery speeches against the Democratic establishment with no follow through. She had the opportunity to help Bernie in MA, when Bill was doing his corrupt shenanigans at the polls, but remained silent. She had several more opportunities to help him, but remained silent.
While Tulsi, risking a lot, took to the campaign trail with and for Bernie, Lizzie decided it was in her own best interest to join forces with Hillary, and become another Hillary whore.
Tulsi served our country, Lizzie served the DNC.
Personally, I prefer courage, dignity and integrity to “cover my ass.”

The FBI criminal investigation intoHillary Clinton’s private server she kept in her private home during her tenure as secretary of state, is rapidly reaching its conclusion with daily leaks that strongly suggest there will be a recommendation for indictment by FBI Director James Comey. On Saturday, Bush administration Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence GeneralJerry Boykin said that Hillary Clinton posting the names of CIA-protected intelligence agents on her private email server means that she must be indicted. An indication that Hillary’s flippant comments to the media concerning the FBI investigation as a “security probe” is far worse than anyone in the Clinton campaign feared.
Boykin, speaking on Breitbart News on Sirius/XM Patriot Channel 125 Saturday with host Matthew Boyle, said “What Hillary Clinton has done, I can tell you, it is punishable by jail time. I think ultimately she’s going be indicted. She has to be. This cannot stand."
Breitbart News had earlier reported that Clinton exchanged numerous names marked by the federal government with “B3 CIA PERS/ORG” redactions. These are used to protect intelligence sources and methods in accordance with theCentral Intelligence Agency Act of 1949. Clinton’s sharing of those names on her non-secure private server could result in the FBI recommending indictment against Clinton for violating the Espionage Act.
So what would a recommendation for indictment by the FBI mean for Hillary, and better yet, the Democratic National Committee? First and foremost, it would almost be a certainty Clinton would bow out as the nominee of her party. That would lead to a Chicago-style 1968 convention full of anger and discourse over who would replace her.
There is little doubt that the feisty Bernie Sanders will claim the nomination considering he won at least 22 state primaries and had the second most votes to Clinton. But will the DNC agree to endorse an avowed socialist who would beat heavy odds to win the White House?

People can be killed as a result of that!”
He went on to cite various spy stories in American history, including the case of CIA operative Aldrich Ames, who was jailed for espionage for turning on the U.S. and spying for the Soviets. “You look at the number of people that actually died as a result of that being compromised? This is really no different. It was not a spy case but it was still the mishandling of classified information that has exposed them and put them in great jeopardy," Boykin said.
Hillary-backers will say, “Oh, Boykin worked for Bush; he’s a Republican." It is one thing to distrust gloom and doom from obvious sources hostile to Clinton, but what Americans need to pay attention to what those responsible for the country’s secrets past and present say about the dangers Hillary’s actions caused. We’re talking lives of patriotic Americans who have given their lives through Hillary’s arrogance and her “above the law” attitude.

A state lawmaker wants businesses that ban guns to be held strictly liable for any gun-related injury that might occur in their premises, and to pay triple damages.
The "Disarmed Citizen Compensation Act" is the brainchild of Rep. Bob Gannon (R-Slinger).
"This bill will give the citizens of Wisconsin a better chance of defending themselves and their loved ones against this scourge of terrorist activity," Gannon said in a news release.

A state lawmaker wants businesses that ban guns to be held strictly liable for any gun-related injury that might occur in their premises, and to pay triple damages.
The “Disarmed Citizen Compensation Act” is the brainchild [BRAIN FART?] of Rep. Bob Gannon (R-Slinger).
“This bill will give the citizens of Wisconsin a better chance of defending themselves and their loved ones against this scourge of terrorist activity,” Gannon said in a news release.
But automatically imposing liability on businesses that choose to prohibit weapons may give some of them concern.
“I think among a lot of our members, the symbolism would be well received, but the practicality of it might not be,” said Steve Baas, senior vice president for governmental affairs with Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce. “Generally, they’re for tort reform and liability limits.”
Gannon’s bill would discourage businesses from posting signs stating that firearms and other weapons are prohibited on the premises. That option was part of Wisconsin’s concealed carry law. License holders who violate the restrictions can be subject to a fine of up to $1,000.
Wisconsin became the 49th state to allow concealed weapons in 2011 with the passage of Act 35. More than 300,000 people have since obtained permits.
