NORMAL FUNDRAISING VS NOW (THE NUMBERS) 2014 has started out as a very bad year for for contributions to Reader Supported News. Bearing in mind that the majority of our most consistent donors are now monthly subscribers and do not get fundraising appeals. We are now working with Readers that are traditionally more reluctant to donate. Here are the numbers: Traditionally we are accustomed to seeing about 120 donations on an average day of fundraising. 250 would be considered strong. The best day in RSN’s history was 534 donations in a single day. Today we will be lucky to get 30, for the entire day.
