Justice for Puppy Doe: Tell Craigslist to Help Stop Violence Against Pets
New Trial Date Announced

FEND
AUG 8, 2017 — After several delays, the most recent being due to a medical emergency with the Massachusetts assistant district attorney, the trial of the man accused of torturing “Puppy Doe” will finally begin with jury selection on October 24th 2017.
Justice for Puppy Doe: Tell Craigslist to Help Stop Violence Against Pets
On August 31st 2013, a young, small, female dog named ‘Puppy Doe’ was found brutally tortured in a Quincy, Massachusetts park, and we were all left wondering who could let this happen to any animal. The dog’s injuries were so violent and severe that the only humane thing to do was to euthanize her. She had been starved, burned, stabbed, and limbs pulled from her joints in what’s been described as a “medieval" style torture.
It was later determined that the original owner of the dog had to give her up for undermined reasons. According to media reports, the owner decided to put the dog, named Kiya, up for adoption on Craigslist. The Pets category is often a go-to source for animal abusers looking for victims because it is anonymous and there is no accountability or screening process. I'm asking Craigslist to change their policies on these re-homing ads so that it is never again a part of tragedies like what happened to Puppy Doe.
The before and after pictures of "Puppy Doe" speak for themselves. How many more times does this have to happen before Craigslist stops allowing people to give their pets away to strangers without any background checks or accountability? Craigslist already prohibits the sale of these animals according to your TOS, so I want you to update your policy to not allow the re-homing of pets by anyone not working for a registered shelter or rescue group that is able to conduct background checks to make sure animals are placed in loving homes.
I'm a passionate animal welfare supporter who grew up in Quincy, Massachusetts and remember playing at the playground where Puppy Doe was found. I've personally tested the Craigslist platform since this horrendous incident and short of a buried link to a PETA article, there are no warnings on the "Pets" section about the dangers of posting these re-homing ads.
These are breathing, feeling, loving animals we’re talking about, not old pieces of furniture-- we are challenging Craigslist to do better by adopting a new policy that protects these vulnerable animals!
It's beyond words that this sweet, innocent dog, that once knew love had to suffer this violent, evil fate. If actions were taken to improve the safety of animals posted on Craigslist, there would be some justice in Puppy Doe's name knowing that another pet will never suffer such violence as a result of being dumped off on Craigslist.
Mr. Buckmaster, while remembering the notorious "Craigslist Killer" murders which led you to ban the Erotic Services category on your site, I am asking your company to take a long hard look at your current policies on Pet postings to help keep these helpless animals safe.
To Puppy Doe: Rest in Peace sweet angel girl, and know that there are thousands of people who love you and are seeking justice.

Arrest Zachary Molina, and bring justice to dog he mutilated
The McLennan County Sheriff’s Office have found the owner of the dog in the disturbing viral video posted on social media showing a seemingly dead dog being desecrated and lit on fire. On Monday, Sheriff Parnell McNamara stated the dog belonged to a woman in China Spring, Texas. Hewitt Police originally began the investigation, however the incident occurred in China Springs.
The video originally appeared on Snapchat, and the account was reported as belonging to a Midway High School graduate. As the disturbing video continued to circulate more than two million times through social media, a man came forward stating his dog had run away after slipping its collar while chasing a squirrel at Cameron Park on Saturday.
According to News10, the sheriff’s office interviewed two teenage boys who told the sheriff they accidentally hit the dog with their vehicle off of Rock Creek Road and left the scene. When they later returned, they loaded the dog into the back of their truck and went to a party – the dead dog left in the rear of the truck. After the party, the boys returned to the area and videoed their sick mutilation. Shell casings have also been removed from the scene.
In the video, the dog looks as if he is dead – the boys placed firecrackers in the dog’s anus and mouth and then ignited the body. The investigation continues. Read the prior story here.

Animal cruelty is the first, and worst, sign of violent psychopathy, the sort of violence that characterizes people like Jeffrey Dahmer and Charles Manson. Serial killers often have cruelty to animals in their background. Zachary Molina needs to be punished to the full extent allowable by law for his offense, and beyond that he clearly needs psychiatric intervention immediately, before he harms another innocent creature.

A snap chat has surfaced of a young man with the body of a deceased dog. He is seen shooting the dog multiple times in the head. Then he did other very graphic very sick things to this dogs body. It is unknown if Zachary killed the dog or not. But he is clearly unstable. And he needs to answer to what really happened to this dog. Please join me and get answers and justice for someone who couldn't do it for themselves.
WARNING VERY GRAPHIC FOOTAGE!!!!!

Puppy Doe defendant will go on trial in October
A Polish national facing 12 counts of animal cruelty will go on trial in October, three years after he was arrested and charged with torturing the dog known as Puppy Doe in Quincy.

A Polish national facing 12 counts of animal cruelty will go on trial in October, three years after he was arrested and charged with torturing the dog known as Puppy Doe in Quincy.
A Norfolk County Superior Count judge has set Oct. 11 as the new trial date for Radoslaw Czerkawski, 35, who is currently serving a prison sentence for a separate larceny conviction. Czerkawski’s animal cruelty trial was scheduled to start Tuesday, but it was pushed back because he has a new attorney.
Public defender Larry Tipton is Czerkawski’s new lawyer after Alison Bloomquist left to take a new job out of state. Bloomquist joined the case last year after John Gibbons, the first public defender assigned to Czerkawski, withdrew from the case.
Czerkawski has pleaded innocent to the charges stemming from allegations that he tortured a female pit bull at a home on Whitwell Street in Quincy. The dog, given the nickname Puppy Doe, was euthanized as a result of her injuries after it was found on Aug. 31, 2013.
The dog’s plight received widespread attention, inspiring the dedication of a Puppy Doe memorial bench in Quincy and a new state law stiffening punishments for animal cruelty convictions.
Quincy police arrested Czerkawski, who was in the U.S. illegally, in October 2013
Czerkawski is currently serving three to five years at MCI-Cedar Junction in Walpole after he was convicted last year of stealing $130,000 from an elderly woman while he was her live-in caretaker at the same Quincy home where investigators say Puppy Doe was abused.
The next court hearing in Czerkawski’s animal cruelty case is July 21 and the final pre-trial hearing is Oct. 4.

Make Declan Garrity FAMOUS for his ANIMAL TORTURE!
Coward tricks his roommate while he viciously tortures her beloved cat.

Original Story: dnainfo.com – A 24-year-old analyst for Barclays was arrested on Wednesday for torturing his roommate’s cat — breaking the pet’s leg and claws and burning her tail while the owner was away at work, according to the NYPD.
Declan Garrity, who lives on Second Avenue near East 89th Street, was arrested at 7:50 a.m. at the apartment he shares with his roommate, who over the weekend, found her cat covered with injuries, according to police and the pet’s owner.
The roommate, 29-year-old Danielle, who declined to share her last name, came home from her nursing job on the morning of Feb. 20 to find her cat, Lucy, hiding in her carrier with a back foot facing in the wrong direction and damp and missing fur, according to the criminal complaint.
Danielle told police she also found paper towels on the bathroom vanity that had cat hair and blood on them.
She immediately took Lucy to a veterinary clinic and discovered the cat had a dislocated and fractured right leg, broken teeth, burns on the tail, butt and thighs, broken claws and severe muscle injury, according to the complaint.
When she texted Garrity to find out whether he knew how the injuries happened, he wouldn’t respond, raising suspicion, she said.
“He offered nothing,” she said. “I didn’t see it, until I saw the whole picture.”
Danielle said she works long hours, sometimes overnight, and the incident over the weekend was the fourth time she had come home to find her cat hurt.
She had taken Lucy to the vet a number of occasions over the last month that Garrity lived with her — he moved into the apartment in November 2015 — for what she believed to be a medical condition. But she, nor the doctors, suspected the injuries were from abuse until Saturday, she said.
“My head doesn’t go to someone ripping my cat’s nails out,” she said. “No one suspected it until now. It’s nauseating.”
Lucy’s behavior changed after Garrity moved into the apartment, Danielle said. Lucy would hide in her owner’s closet, refused to eat and constantly licked her paws.
In one instance, on Jan. 25, Danielle came home to find Lucy hurt, and when she asked Garrity about it, he told her the cat had knocked over an iron and it landed on her, Danielle said.
When the doctors looked into Lucy’s injuries from this past Saturday, the vet discovered signs of a previous fractured hip, bruised and broken ribs and a cut lip, Danielle said.
Garrity was charged with two counts of felony aggravated animal cruelty, misdemeanor torturing, injuring and not feeding an animal, authorities say.
At his arraignment, the judge set bail at $5,000 cash or bond. He’s being held at the Manhattan Detention Complex pending a Feb. 29 court date, records show.
Danielle said she met Garrity through Craigslist, and he seemed to be a great roommate.
“I met him a couple of times, called his references and Googled him, but he had no record,” she said. “He was a really great roommate and told me he had grown up with a cat and his parents had a dog.”
In disbelief, Danielle said she tried to think of other ways the cat could’ve gotten hurt, but nothing else made sense.
“I didn’t see this coming,” she said. “I hope he gets the punishment he deserves and is convicted rightfully. I never want to see him again.”
Lucy was undergoing one of several surgeries on Thursday afternoon at the Animal Medical Center on East 62nd Street, to get her stabilized, Danielle said.
Since her teeth are broken, Lucy is being fed through an IV, and seems to be getting stronger, she added.
“Last night when I visited, she was purring,” Danielle said.
Garrity’s attorney did not immediately return a call for comment.
A Barclays spokesman said Garrity is on a leave of absence pending thorough review, but would not say when or why it began nor would he comment on the allegations.

Tuffy: Boiled alive and thrown
from fourth story balcony!
from fourth story balcony!
As a six-week-old puppy, Tuffy had the shock of his young life – having a pot of boiling water thrown on him for chewing on his former owner's cell phone.
This story is unbelievable. We have partnered with Animals Asia to help save a dog named Tuffy. I know these photos and story are difficult to read and see but together we can help this innocent victim of torture. This is his story.
What happened next would have killed most people. Tuffy was thrown from a fourth-floor balcony, onto concrete. And he would certainly have died had it not been for the "miracles of kindness" that followed.
When 30-year-old designer Yan Yingying saw him lying there, he was on the edge of death. Not thinking twice, she picked him up, determined to help.
Animals Asia Vet Emily Drayton said: "That first act of kindness was that of Ms Yan. She was the one who saw Tuffy lying at the bottom of the apartment building, drenched and scalded. The sight must have been so horrific – and I'm sure many people would have walked past and pretended not to see. But she didn't. She took Tuffy to a local vet in Chengdu and paid for all his veterinary care. That saved his life."
But while Tuffy was kept alive, the local vet's knowledge of how to treat such awful ailments was limited. Through an online veterinary advice service, Ms. Yan found Animals Asia. She drove an hour to bring him to Animals Asia's China sanctuary.
Dr. Drayton states, "When a vet tells you to prepare yourself, you know you're going to be in for a shock. But nothing prepared me for what I was about to see. A tiny naked pup, with a red raw body that looked like a huge blister, looking out at the world with the misery of an animal who couldn't understand why he had been punished with pain."
"We asked ourselves – had he used up all of his energy and everything he had to get this far? Do we have to make a decision for him to end his suffering? What can we do? My colleague and I discussed it, and we both strongly felt he needed a chance."
The second miracle was the extent of his burns. When they cover over 50 per cent of the body, animals are not expected to survive. Tuffy survived with over 60 per cent of his body burned. How his life started was horrific.
Dr. Drayton writes "Time and time again we find that those who are cruel to animals are a tiny minority. Animals have the ability to bring out the best in people, and it's true for Tuffy. His strength and bravery was incredible – but Ms Yan was equally determined he would live.
"Tuffy has more passion for life than any animal, or person, I have ever met. Nothing can keep him down. He is boisterous and full of play. To say Tuffy is a fighter is an understatement."
Now join us in helping to save this incredible animal. With every purchase above we will send 10$ to help save Tuffy. Wear your animal saving shirt proudly knowing you helped save a miracle!
