TalkMansfield and Middleboro's Connection

During the process of the Middleboro Search Committee evaluating potential candidates for a new Middleboro Town Manager, a few computer savvy folks did an internet search and raised issues about the current Mansfield Town Manager, Mr. D'Agostino who was among the final 3 contestants submitted to the Middleboro Board of Selectmen.
.
At that time, I raised issues of the Search Committee failing to do appropriate due diligence, as well as the cheer leading done by a Middleboro business owner, Bob Saquet who is Town Moderator of Mansfield.
.
It should be noted that the two Middleboro Selectmen who would have voted for Mr. D'Agostino, Messrs. Rogers and Spataro are computer savvy and certainly capable of doing their own basic internet searches were it not for laziness. Had they done so, they might have re-considered their votes.
.
Although this might seem to be ancient history, viewing the weekly Middleboro Board of Selectmen's meetings clearly indicates that the failure to investigate facts, failure to review issues and the failure to govern the Town of Middleboro in an informed and professional manner remains mostly unchanged.
.
The link to TalkMansfield is posted at the right for periodic review. Contained within the discussion forum is a document library that's worth a review. A poster named JohnnyDog02048 has posted many of the court documents on the Town Hall portion of the forum and there's a thread regarding Mr. Saquet's letters to the editor. The caliber of discussion of some pretty heated topics is well disciplined and respectful. Middleboro might take a few lessons from Mansfield.

This has changed my opinion of Bob Saquet.
