Chatter From A Chatterer #1

Claude Barrows appeared by invitation at Senator Karen Spilka's Casino Lovefest Swoon, on crutches that might explain his brain fog, as well as the numerous pages in his "report" that were blank.
.
While Claude had a lot to say that will be addressed in detail later, at the conclusion of his presentation, Senator Tucker questioned Claude about his funding source[s].
.
Anyone who reviewed Claude's web site prior to accusations among the Chatterers and Chatterers who proclaimed Claude's clear bias, is fully aware of Claude's cozy connections revealed on his site with the gambling industry that he has since removed. [It is regrettably, one of the few things I failed to retain in its entirety, as is my custom.]
.
Claude became amnesiac at Senator Tucker's question or skimble-skamble [which somewhat prophetically, was the word of the day] .... and let me see....in fairness 2008 was a really busy year for Claude. He babbled rather aimlessly, forgot a few that are credited to him on the Internet (no wonder he hates it!) and forgot this ----
.
.
The Olympia Group issued a report this week predicting the new gambling venue would create hundreds of new jobs and bring in tens of millions in new taxes.
The report, conducted by the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, estimates the new casino.....
.
the study commissioned by Olympia, in turn, portrays its proposed casino as a boon for Maine’s economy at a time when tax revenues are going down and unemployment is going up.
.
Claude just simply forgot....right? The Gambling Industry commissioned a study at a state school and Massachusetts' taxpayers foot the bill?
.
Maine voters, to their credit defeated the referendum, but the casino opposition had this to say:
.
The study neglects the additional costs Maine taxpayers will have to shoulder for more police and other services, while exaggerating the economic benefits, CasinosNo! contends.
.
.
Note: The author of the Casino Cheerleading article is none other than Send This Man Some Pom Poms Coincidence? Think not!
