Clean sweep for Trump. Veterans can stop him.

VoteVets.org

Are you watching tonight's results? Donald Trump is cleaning up. Five states, five wins. With each victory, it is looking increasingly likely that he is going to be the Republican Party's nominee.

So, what does that mean for veterans?

It's not great. This is a man who has advocated for a dramatic escalation of military force in the Middle East, including more ground troops in Iraq and Syria. Who would put our troops at greater risk by re-instating "waterboarding and a lot more." And who would alienate our allies in the fight against ISIS by banning all Muslims from coming to the United States.

What does it mean for VoteVets?

It means we are the single progressive organization best positioned to stop Donald Trumpbecause people trust veterans, and we're ready and able to mobilize tens of thousands of them in the campaign to stop Trump from becoming Commander in Chief. But we need your help:

Make a contribution right now as a way of saying that there is no way in hell Donald Trump will ever become our next Commander in Chief - not if veterans have anything to say about it.

Here's what it looks like: If Donald Trump can win Indiana, New Jersey, and California -- three places he has the lead -- he will probably lock up the nomination. If he does, we'll be ready. So as you watch the next few weeks unfold, know that your contribution to VoteVets is one of the best ways to ensure no one will ever have to hear these words: President Donald Trump.

All my best,
