EXCERPTS BELOW DEFINE REPUBLICAN INABILITY TO GOVERN....HIGHLIGHTING KEVIN MCCARTHY'S QUEST FOR POWER - THE HOUSE LEADERSHIP.

INSTEAD OF ACCOMPLISHING SOMETHING...ANYTHING...KEVIN MCCARTHY GENUFLECTS TO TRUMP....NOT WHAT'S BEST FOR THE NATION.

NATIONAL INTERESTS NEVER COME FIRST WITH REPUBLICANS.

The Daily 202: Immigration is tearing Republicans apart

McCarthy warned members that passing a moderate immigration bill would make it much easier for Democrats to win control of the House – by depressing conservative base turnout and derailing the rest of the GOP agenda.

The president also touted how aggressively he’s stepping up deportations. “We have people coming into the country — or trying to come in, we’re stopping a lot of them — but we’re taking people out of the country, you wouldn’t believe how bad these people are,” Trump said. “These aren’t people. These are animals.”

“Still, the 20 House Republicans who have signed the petition have made clear they are done waiting after years of hoping their party’s leaders would bring some immigration bill — any immigration bill — to the floor.”

This worked in the short-term, but more than anything else it guaranteed the GOP would become a minority party in the Golden State. Republicans have never recovered, yet the national party is in the process of following the same path.
