Middleboro: Embarrassing Conduct by BOS

Is anyone watching the EMBARRASSING CONDUCT during the BOS Meetings?
.
You can't ALL have Verizon and use that as an excuse.
.
Thank you for all who made wise choices during the recent Town Election.
.
This is the government YOU elected and just when some thought it couldn't get any worse, guess what? It did!
.
Please watch so you know who you elected.

The willingness of casino supporters to support/elect a single-issue candidate who is clearly out of her element and in FAR over her head was clearly displayed in the pathetic performance at the BOS meeting. She is an embarrassment to their cause! She is uninformed, unwilling to do her homework or research the important issues before her.
It is noteworthy that an out of towner who is inarticulate, poorly educated, a verbal abuser of woman and didn't watch the fiasco is criticizing your criticism.
We watched and it was disgraceful!
You're right and keep it up!
(My husband was far more inflamed than I am about this mockery of a member.)

Perhaps the newly seated Selectwoman should take some time to do her homework and learn the ropes before speaking out on issues that currently seem beyond her understanding. Frankly, I was embarassed for her.

Sometimes, when watching BOS meetings, there are no words to express my distress. Last night took the cake!!! Mimi really needs to take some time to learn some basics.

Two words to a certain VoraciouslyVicious poster on a local toxic forum: Shut up!

When people choose to run for political office and live in the public eye, they implicitly agree to open their words and actions up to scrutiny. That's a given. Sorry----no one gets a free pass, not on a national, state, or local level. Anyone too fragile to have their qualifications, presentations, decisions, or competency called into question should avoid the limelight. Criticism comes with the territory. The new Selectwoman chose her Baptism by Fire. While I agree that her character and personal life are off limits to commentary, her official words and actions will be assessed by voters. That's how politics and First Amendment Rights play out in America. So, VenomousViper, get a clue! The new Selectwoman appears to be woefully unprepared on BOS policies, procedures, and issues. Being a nice lady is not a qualification for running town business.

Unless you witnessed the conduct of that meeting, you can't believe what an Amateur Hour performance it was!
Those of us who have attended or watched other BOS meetings recognize the level of professionalism that is lacking in Middleboro.
Maybe the Raynham poster should pay attention to his home town. With all of Raynham's businesses, why is Raynham's bond rating the same as Middleboro's? Poor fiscal management?

I can sum up this entire topic. I hereby declare the Middleboro Board of Selectman no longer the BOS. They shall from this day forward be known at the TRC (three ring circus). Hopefully, all those townies are happy with their decision to add more fuel to the fire by not only re-electing Marsha but now giving her quite the side kick. The new comers to town that claim they are upset with the town. SHAME ON YOU FOR NOT GOING TO MAKE A CHANGE. Maybe next April you will come to your senses as a town. TOO LITTLE TOO LATE for this old bog town. This BOS should appear on the Jerry Springer show. It would be true and quite natural. Lies, BS, and false hopes. DO AS I SAY NOT AS I DO APPEARS TO BE THE MOTO HERE IN TOWN.
