Verizon: Finally, Middleboro Can Hear!

Verizon has finally provided AUDIO to Middleboro with their local programming!

Nice work!

Do you hear the applause?

So.....ah....now can we talk about those other issues??? Like maybe the new subdivisions that are pre-wired??? And maybe all the other subdivisions that have phone service, but not cable or FIOS? What's the deal with that? Different wires?

Could you tell us how many years??

What channel number is it broadcast on?

MR: I can't understand why anyone would complain about the comprehendibility of your posts. They are so straightforward and well organized. I suspect that those who criticize so easily make very little effort on their own to delve into the issues. Or perhaps they just can't handle the truth when it stares them in the face.

Avenging angels fulfill an important role. They help to provoke change.

Talia, It's been awhile, but glad you're still watching and posting.
Good to see you!
You have much to add.

MR:
I continue to read your blog because it is informative and connects readers with invaluable links and data necessary to help voters implement change. I realize that change is a slow evolutionary process, and sometimes it's difficult to be patient. But you help us remain focused on positive possibilities and what can be accomplished.

BTW, MrLimo, I've been told you read this blog and have wondered aloud who I am. Perhaps you need to pay more attention to the issues affecting your own community and become less preoccupied with "he said/she said" banter. No offense, but we Middleboro residents are perfectly capable of attending to our own business. And we have too much business to attend to in building for the future to pay attention to the wonderings of an obvious provocateur. Enough said..............

As always, thanks for your perfect spelling and grammatical construction. I wish everyone who posted on the internet took such consideration of their presentations.

What was that song? In the year 2525? If Middleboro is still alive. Maybe by then, the BOS will have the interest of the taxpayers in mind as well as all the important informative information that the majority of residents weren't aware of until you JESSIE came out to educate us. A sincere thank you and best of luck to you. You invest a great deal of time as well as energy into your educating this town. SOMEDAY, people will realize just what you have been saying to us. It's so sad a town of this size still chooses to reject change and interest in was has been, is and will continue to be done to this place called home.

While the effusive praise is undeserved, I would like to point out that the Town's pension will be FULLY FUNDED in 2026.
Next time someone tells you that employees contribute, keep the date in mind. And when the Annual Report is available in the Town Clerk's Office, pick up a copy and look at the town's contribution. And look at the state's contribution for the teachers' retirement. So much for self-funding! They'll be additional information when the clowns, oops! The respectful BOS hold a hearing on April 28th for the WARRANTS for the STM and ATM scheduled for May 13th. VOTERS -- PLEASE -- LOOK AT THE NUMBERS, ASK QUESTIONS, MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND, LISTEN TO THE FINANCE COMMITTEE.
Additional information will be posted on subsequent entries as time permits.

Oooops! Seems Verizon is LOST.
I was sent an email that indicates local access was being broadcast on channels 33-35, but nothing this morning.
On ComCast, there was programming.
Maybe if you keep complaining ..... ?
If you do a google search for 'verizon complaints,' there seems to be much.
You know the thing about the squeaky wheel? Previous posts indicate the avenues of complaint-at the top of this blog, there's a 'search' -- search Verizon and complain. Don't forget to call the BOS and remember to protest when the contract comes up.
Verizon leaves much to be desired.

I went through every local programming station on Verizon tonight starting at 7 until 7:15, and every one said "Currently Unavailable".

Waste of time.
