My name is Puro

My name is Puro. I was young once. My teeth were sparkling white. My fur was soft and shiny. I could run the like the wind. I had my whole life ahead of me.

It has not been that great and I have no way to tell you about my life. I just know that on my card, the one that determines my fate that I am something called a senior. I guess that means that I carry many years on my back.

I am a Collie/Shepherd boy. They say I am large and black and white and that I still have so much joy left that I actually smile.

I smile looking back at the good times, and I smile because I have hope that even though I am not young anymore that someone would want a sweet, kind humble older boy like me.

My name is Puro. To be saved by the Angels I must have a foster home in Atlanta. I just must. I can't sit in boarding or at a vet office. So can you open your heart and your home to an older dog who will teach you so many things?

This is my only chance to live with a human who will keep me clean and give me a toy and a warm bed. I want to sleep so deeply and wake knowing I am finally safe forever.

The Angels will be taking a chance on a senior like me because we usually need our teeth cleaned and extra blood work. All of those extra expenses add up. I want to be worth it, so I am begging for a foster. Without that, I will go to my death as one of the many dogs without a name and a happy ending.

You can be a hero to me and go to www.angelsrescue.org to fill out Atlanta foster application.

After these kind folks at Angels let you know there is a foster offer for me, then please donate to my vetting so I can get all taken care of - www.angelsrescue.org/donate.

I smile tonight with hope. - Puro
