Having Senator Warren join Martha on the trail this
weekend was a special treat.
Elizabeth is not just our senior Senator, but a national
champion for working families who knows what it means to fight for the middle
class.

That phone call Martha made eight years ago, when she
was a newly elected AG, changed history. At the time, Elizabeth was a teacher
and she had been writing about how the tilt was always toward the rich and the
powerful, not toward our working families.
Martha reached out because she knew that she and
Elizabeth were fighting for the same people. They cared about the same ideal of
fairness, and wanted to level the playing field for the next
generation.
Every day, Martha is out crisscrossing the Commonwealth
to make sure that she can continue to fight for our working families, and so
that she can work alongside Elizabeth to help make Massachusetts the greatest
place to raise a family.
