The New England Society for Abandoned Animals (NESAA) announced today that they have dropped their adult cat adoption fee to $25 for the month of December. The discounted adoption fee is applicable for all cats one year and older, according to an NESAA release.

NESAA partnered with Best Friends Animal Society for their Save Them All™ adoption push. NESAA has many cats available at both their main shelter in Centerville and their satellite shelter at PetSmart in Hyannis. All cats--both kittens and adults--are healthy, spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

Only thing missing is a loving forever home.

In addition to the $25 adoption fee, all adoptive owners must pass an application process. The process includes meeting with an NESAA counselor, reference checks and lease checks.

Since its start in 2006, NESAA has found forever homes for thousands of cats. For more information about adopting, volunteering or donating, visit the website here or call 508-771-7800. NESAA's shelter is at 89 South Main Street, Unit A1 in Centerville and PetSmart is at 1070 Iyannough Road (Route 132) in Hyannis. Please call for an appointment to visit either location.
