Can we begin with Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), the Greatest Climate Change Denier who received campaign contributions that created blindness....poor man!

Or Jeb Bush....willing to do battle for any Campaign Contributor? [It used to be called "Prostitution"!]

The Turkey Award surely goes to the American Voters for electing these clowns.....

The nominations are open! And we need yours.

For what, you ask?

Team Lowdown is extremely pleased to announce a very special upcoming issue of The Hightower Lowdown: our first annual Gooberhead Awards, coming this July.

The Gooberheads have been conceived to recognize those pre-eminent gasbags in public life who don’t let the danger they pose to the rest of us restrain them from opening their mouths. Politicians, media folk, corporados, sports stars, pop culture divas, mega-donors... there are so many possibilities, national and local, and we need your help in finding the most deserving among them all.

We know that it’s just hard sometimes to tell where Gooberism stops and Greedheadism begins. So we’re throwing the net wide. Who knows what we’ll drag up?!

Submit your your nominees via this form. We'd like to know:

• their names and positions,
• a creative summary of their Gooberhead qualifcations,
• and (optional!), a quote that showcases them in all their Gooberheaded glory.
