Every life needs a HAPPY ENDING! NYC KILL SHELTERS! Harris County ignoring Animal Abuse!

This poor boy desperately needs to be saved.

Then they saw the phone cord tied around his mouth and nose…
RESHAREWORTHY.COM|BY RESHAREWORTHY

Neighbors in a Houston condo complex turned to social media for help with dog on a porch who they say was being maltreated by his owner.
The situation, which was detailed on Second Chance Rescue NYC’s Facebook page, has caused a social media firestorm and prompted animal lovers to call for authorities to rescue the dog and charge the owner.

Update: there will be a Press conference at 1200 Baker St, Houston, TX 77002 tomorrow -- thursday--please go show your support. COURTESY POST/WE ARE TRYING TO HELP THIS DOG.
YES THAT IS A RUBBER BAND AROUND THE MUZZLE
HARRIS COUNTY TEXAS. SHAME ON YOU. THIS IS LIVE AND HAPPENING NOW!!
"I'd like to take a moment to introduce the world to a very special piece of human garbage tonight... .. The Villas of Westador Condomeniums.
On Monday, the neighbor below this neanderthal knocked on their door, and said to them "Hey, you need to actually WALK your dog. You've left him on that wood-plank floored porch for the past 3 days, and the dog's piss and everything else is dripping down on my head when I'm sitting on my patio, below..." The neanderthal responded with laughter, and a turgid invitation for the neighbor to go and fornicate with himself.
The next day, this past Tuesday, the dog was seen, still on the small, 12x5 porch, only with a human diaper duct taped to it's hindquarters. Today is Thursday, and they FINALLY took the SAME diaper off of the dog! Not only that, but they also decided sometime between yesterday and tonight, to wrap an old-school phone cord tightly around the dog's mouth and nose, to keep it from whining. Today, they were "decent" enough to replace the phone cord with a thick rubber band. Not only that, but when my girlfriend climbed up the side of the building to get these photos of the dog (attached below), it was learned that the poor guy has a huge, un-treated and abscessed gash across its back and leg, ub addition to being emaciated. The dog had no food or water dish visible.
From what I have been able to show with documentation, the Harris County Animal Control has been contacted AT LEAST 14 times, by 4 different residents of this condomenium complex, since Monday of this week, and not a single person has received a response. 3 of the 4 people interviewed today claimed to have also sent emails, to which have been unreplied.
Tonight, a group of angry neighbors contacted the Harris County Sheriff's Department, and demanded that a deputy be dispatched to this monster's residence. The Deputy, to his credit, arrived promptly and was extremely courteous. He seemed to show a genuine and sincere concern for the dog, but reiterated the County's policy regarding animals. "We are here to police for people, not animals. That must be left up to Animal Control". He entered the residence and shortly after, the dog was brought inside. The Deputy exited the residence, shaking his head in disgust. He would not share with us what transpired, but assured the pitchfork and torch carrying crowd of neighbors that he would personally make sure that Animal Control will be out there tomorrow, and that he would make a note that this should be a top priority case. God bless this Deputy, because it was obvious the guy wanted to do much more than what his jurisdiction would allow.
I'm not blaming Animal Control or the Humane Society here, because Lord knows they have their hands full, and operate on a shoestring budget, but it would seem to me that if they received FOURTEEN messages regarding the same grossly abused animal, that they could at the very least return a phone call.
I am a Private Investigator for a living, and have worked cases of grossly neglected pets and animal abuse for several years. I try to volunteer as often as possible to those organizations that can benefit from the services that I'm trained and able to offer. Collecting evidence, documenting, and building a case is what I do. Calling out the disgusting bastards that are guilty of this heinous behavior personally, publicly, and with their personal contact information is an extra little added touch that I take great pride in providing.
So I want to personally invite each and every one of you to share this on your page, and until I can find this low-life's name and personal contact information, which I will gladly provide here, feel free to stop by and let this festering jackass know how a companion should be treated. That is off of FM1960 and 45N, so anyone in the area is welcome to drive by and witness this for themselves. I would encourage you to write letters, but I'd bet the farm that this worthless thug isn't capable of reading them."
It is also believed that the dog has a broken or badly injured leg, as well. Residents in the complex, separately and without collaboration, claimed that they have personally witnessed the owner beating the dog with his fists, hands, leash, and a newspaper.
Tonight Animal control showed up and was Appalled by all of the photos and conditions. We were hopeful when the Harris County Sheriff's Department showed up until it was discovered that the deputy is the father of the abuser!!! They began to threaten TO ARREST AMBER Cammack for causing a disturbance! !! Meanwhile Amber was the one calling the police for help all week. Children are crying outside and the sights and sounds of the poor abused dog!!! Harris County police department thinks animal abuse is ok!!!. Talk about abuse of power and letting animal abuse be ok. WTF!!!!!
In that apartment are also two pitbulls that are emaciated! !!!
Well folks lets do our part and call the police department in Harris County and demand justice. Call the district attorney. ...go to the address. TAG AND SHARE!!!!!!!!
IT IS NOT OK TO LEAVE THE DOGS THERE TO DIE AND KEEP GETTING NEGLECTED.
Ps: we have the footage and audio files of the grotesque display the police of Harris County put on. Corruption in Houston
District Attorney's office number:
(713) 755-58-00
You can say something like:
"My name is xxxxx I am calling from xxxxx, in regards to an animal cruelty complaint that isn't being handled incorrectly due to a conflict of interest due to the fact a Harris Sheriffs deputy being the father of the abuser.
Please forward the following message to the DA on my behalf: 'Please take action in this matter and open an investigation that will allow the animal(s) to be removed to safety and a second investigation into the deputy's corrupt actions. Thank you"
(...or something to that effect.)

Neighbors also say that the dog had phone cord tied around his mouth and nose allegedly because the dog had been whining too much, only for it to be replaced with a rubber band. “Today, they were ‘decent’ enough to replace the phone cord with a thick rubber band,” it says the Facebook post.

Despite the condo residents’ repeated calls to authorities, authorities have now said there is insufficient evidence to warrant charges. According to ABC 13, investigators and a veterinarian are said to have evaluated the dog and determined he was in good health. Therefore no charges will be filed.
The district attorney’s response has prompted outrage among the residents and animal advocates.

PALUZZA - A1056647 - Manhattan - Publicly Adoptable
TO BE DESTROYED 11/06/15 A volunteer writes: One can not find a more girly girl than Paluzza ! And she is such a sweetheart… Paluzza came to us as a stray. She is in need of veterinary assistance. Her belly is quite large, her hinds are stiff, her gait difficult, her coat, although clean is very thin and hair is missing by places. Her teeth have seen better days. Still her eyes are sparkling, her ears listening, and her will to be in company, petted and loved is quite alive and strong. She gathers all her strength to come when I call her. She loves to be on my lap and be kissed. She does not own a mean bone.. Paluzza is interested in other dogs, even if they are much bigger and younger than her. Good care, a safe and loving home might “put her back on her feet” or at least lessen her ailments. She is just too adorable and gentle to pass her over… Paluzza is at the Manhattan Care Center, an endearing gal we dream to see happy and well in your hands. Please, consider her. She is a little gem.

You made a commitment - 9 years!
You walk away?

OREO - A1056662 - Brooklyn - Rescue Only
TO BE DESTROYED 11/06/15 ** SWEET SENIOR ** Oreo is not any ordinary dog, no she is a senior, a dog who was part of a family for nine years. Oreo arrived donning her best cookie inspired face, with cat housemate Snowball A1056664 by her side. The owners were moving, and a trip to the ACC of NYC was on their things to do list. Surrendered and alone, Oreo’s cat was quickly shuffled away to another holding area. Oreo sat in a cage and wondered what happened to her life ? Oreo was quiet and calm during her medical exam, but did not like her paws touched, Oreo also needs to be the only dog at this time, so she earned a New Hope only designation. The ACC does not have much time for nine year old dogs. Oreo is listed to be destroyed tomorrow. Please find it in your heart to advocate for her life. She does not deserve to be forgotten and dragged down the hall to be killed tomorrow. Do what you can to share her story and help find a comfortable place where she can continue her life. The right foster or adopter can save the day, so contact an approved rescue if this sounds like YOU. Loyalty to her cause would be appreciated, something that was forgotten when she was dropped of at the shelter.

SNORK - A1055851 - Brooklyn - Publicly Adoptable
TO BE DESTROYED 11/06/15
** EXPERIENCE RATED ** Snork is a young year old pup who had an interesting turn of events, he was a stray who had a finder that really liked him, but then an incident with a co worker occurred. A bite happened but without much information or backup from a reliable source. Snork entered the ACC of NYC with minimal information. On the bright side Snork was easy to handle at intake. His SAFER behavior exam went quite well, he did a good job. The shelter feels he would be best with an Experienced adopter or foster. Snork has been listed to be destroyed tomorrow. He is seventy pounds and a hunky gray pup. Mysteries give clues, please share, advocate, and pledge to help Snork find the experienced person he needs. Snork is a very young dog, he is much too young to die without a chance.
