VoteVets.org: Re-upping our Trump/Russia TV ad

VoteVets

Recusal is not enough. Jeff Sessions lied to the Senate Judiciary Committee about his contacts with the Russian government during the presidential campaign. It is simply not possible to trust his office is capable of conducting a fair, thorough, and independent investigation into President Trump's self-described "Russian connection."

So we are going to re-up our ad featuring Rear Admiral Michael Smith who served as Commander, Destroyer Squadron 23 and as the Sea Combat Commander for the Nimitz Strike Group.

In the spot, he calls for an independent investigation on the relationship between President Trump and the Russian government. In light of Jeff Sessions' recusal, that call is more important than ever.

Watch our latest ad and contribute $10 to help us keep the pressure on President Trump. As long as there are people who want to see veterans take the fight to Trump, we won't stop.

When yesterday morning began, Jeff Sessions was saying he did nothing wrong. Then he was defended by Sean Spicer. President Trump said he didn't think he should recuse himself.

But as our voices grew louder, he had no choice but to remove himself from the Russian investigation. You're $10 contribution helps us keep up the pressure. That's why it's so important.

All our best,
- The team at VoteVets
