Although some of us have attempted to remain above the fray and ignore the constant attacks, name-calling and misstatements about us that have been posted in a public venue, patience wears thin.

Those attacks originate from the singular focus of a few zealous casino supporters, primarily on an internet site maintained by a Raynham business owner.

My intent is, and has always been to focus on those things that would make Middleboro a better place to live and where cost savings could be achieved.

Information, education and transparency are sorely needed in Middleboro.
.
While there are many who lament about the need for new revenue sources, they overlook or disregard information presented to them about potential cost savings. New Revenue Sources has become the buzz word for those intent on maintaining the status quo.

As such, it is distracting from my interest and intent to continue to post those attacks within Middleboro Review and a separate forum has been linked. As time allows, historical posts will be added.

Perhaps I should use this new blog of yours to publish the anonymous comment on my own blog (removed) which lead to the resulting comments (never published) from HWSNBN which in turn lead to my contacting my local police department. (And yes, the police were given copies of the entire thread, and all comments, published, unplublished and deleted.) Not surprisingly, this did NOT make a difference in the assessment of the actual threat.
While his name has come up a VERY few times, I've always made an effort to keep HWSNBN and his actions off my blog - though he has never returned this act of respect.
So why do I continue? So I can find my own name dragged through the mud, drawn with his particularly crude and disgusting pen? So my own family can suffer because I refuse to be intimidated in my right to free speech. So that I can be called "a certain liar from Bridgewater" in a public forum currently showing on cable TV? So that I can continue to fear for my own safety due to his delusions?
I've made the conscious choice to keep his name almost completely off my blog, though of course he still uses it willingly in his own blog, web site and forum comments - then blames everyone else for it later.
MR, I think I manage to tolerate an enourmous amount of public hypocrisy from many individuals in this debate before I call them on it. As for HWSNBN, I've never asked him to remove ANYTHING he's ever posted, said about or done to me. But still HWSNBN, for one, has no appreciation for this. Every attempt I make to leave him in the distance does me no good.
I'm so done with it all.

You all deserve a hand for thinking we can treat him with a measure of respect and expect something of the same from him.
Lately, MR, I find myself wondering if HWSNBN and his slew of obvious personality issues aren't also being used as convenient pawns by certain others who hope he will continue to cross the line even futher on their behalf to intimidate us from speaking out.
Todays Coffee shop talk is a classic.
I have idea for you for next weeks show Mr Bond. How about having Barry Bonds on your show to talk on why steroids are hurting baseball.
Both Hal Brown and Adam Bond posted on that hate site and now theyre defending this guy after the trash he posted? Get a life!
