The Division of Local Services has released the following Informational Guideline Releases (IGRs):
IGR 08-301: “Fiscal Year 2009 Payment Schedule for Cherry Sheet Programs,” can be found at:

IGR 08-301 provides municipal and regional school officials with information on the FY2009 payment schedule for Cherry Sheet programs. In addition, the guideline explains how assessments will be deducted from local aid distributions. This information will be useful for cash flow analysis.
IGR 08-302: “Fiscal Year 2009 Waivers to Education Reform Spending Requirements and Minimum Required Local Contributions,” can be found at:

IGR 08-302 informs local officials of provisions of the FY2009 State Budget that allow cities and towns, under certain circumstances, to lower their minimum required contributions to local and regional schools under the Education Reform Act for FY2009.
