Fellow blogger, Ryan Adams has been blogging about the Question 3 effectively and there's not much to add. It's time to end Greyhound Racing by voting YES on Question 3.
Since tracks have been forced to report injuries, over 800 dogs have been injured. A year's worth of them were recorded by The Committee to Protect Dogs. Hundreds of dogs were seriously injured. Many of them died. It's brutal and we, as a society, can do better. I hope everyone will vote Yes on Question 3, so we can finally bring justice for these dogs.

Having never been to a dog track, I was shocked and disgusted to learn how these poor animals are so maltreated. And for what? People's entertainment pleasure. This practice is totally barbaric and unacceptable. Greyhounds are such gentle creatures who deserve a loving home. Please vote YES on 3!
Thank you so much for your support. There is a real chorus of voices speaking up for the dogs!
Outlawing dog racing is long overdue. No animal should be condemned to such a life.
Carey, I circulated petitions for the Y2K effort and have been remiss in not being as active as I would have preferred for this effort, but it's time to end the business. The number of employees whose jobs are at stake seems to be minimal and efforts can be made to reach out and re-train those workers in sustainable jobs. The tax money the Raynham Track contributes to the town is declining and another business might provide more funds and better jobs.
There is no longer any justification for this type of business that survives by euthanizing greyhounds after irreparable injuries.
Well said!
We have friends active in adopting greyhounds who are great couch potatoes, love kids, wonderful family members.
This kind of quiet acceptance makes me wonder about us as a species.
