RSN: White Cop Kills Unarmed, Naked Black Man in Atlanta Suburb, The Letter: Top 5 Similarities of GOP and Iran Hard Liners

Too much intrigue and behind the scenes machinations?

Maybe you've absorbed all of the Corporate Media Propaganda about BAD IRAN, yet a review of US involvement quickly reveals that Iran elected a Democratic leader, Mossadagh, that the US overthrew to protect the British Monarchy and BP Oil.

The US then installed the Brutal Shah of Iran. The US does tend to favor thugs.

The US, Poppy Bush as CIA Director, then VP, armed Iran and Iraq with chemical weapons to kill  each other, arms smuggled through Israel and elsewhere.

Oh...and how 'bout that Iran/Contra thing?  Drugs flooded black neighborhoods? Anyone remember Ollie North?

When ISIS rants about Sykes-Picot Agreement, maybe they're not totally wrong.

Does Israel ever want to live in PEACE with its neighbors?
Is killing, bombing and building settlements the way to achieve PEACE?

Do AMERICANS, specifically the GOP ever want to STOP ENDLESS WARS?

At the bottom is Juan Cole's RSN article.

Please consider signing the PETITION below to speak out for the violation of the Logan Act by the GOP.

"The 47 senators who sent the letter trying to sabotage the Iran negotiations clearly violated the Logan Act, and should be charged accordingly."

The Logan Act is a law that's been on the books since 1799. Here is what it states:
Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
Yesterday, a group of 47 Republican Senators blatantly violated this important law by sending an open letter to Iran's leaders warning them that they’ll reverse any nuclear deal Iran signs with President Obama's administration after he leaves office.
Remember, these Senators did this while President Obama is in the middle of high level negotiations with Iran to prevent them from getting nuclear weapons. It’s completely reckless. It’s a precedent that can’t be allowed to stand.

It’s time these Republicans face consequences for their incredibly reckless actions.

SMALL DONORS ONLY SO FAR: Yesterday the volume of donations picked up significantly. However most of the contributions were in the ten dollar range. $10. donations are spiritually uplifting but they do not move the progress bar. Absent so far in March are donors in the $50.-$100. dollar range. There have been a few but the average is quite low so far. For your consideration. / Marc Ash - Founder, Reader Supported News
