Can your job be outsourced overseas? Raiding Medicare to pay for it?

Making a BAD DEAL worse?

When President Obama attacked Senator Elizabeth Warren for opposing bad trade deals written in secret by big corporations, PCCC members fought back.

Together with allies, we put in thousands of calls to Congress and helped defeat "fast track" for bad trade deals on Tuesday.

Senator Sherrod Brown got Warren's back. He worked with her to lead the fight for American workers -- and also called out the president for belittling Warren with insults. He said:

“I think the president was disrespectful to her... The president has made this more personal than he needed to...referring to her as first name, when he might not have done that for a male senator, perhaps? I’ve said enough.”

As the White House desperately continues to try to find ways to pass "fast track," they've called on Sherrod Brown to "apologize." You read that right. After they side with big corporations against workers and attack Warren with insults, they want Sherrod Brown to "apologize."

Can you stand in solidarity with Elizabeth Warren and Sherrod Brown against this intimidation? Donate $3 to their re-elections to keep their valuable voices in the Senate.

It's truly sad that the White House and President Obama are aiming their fire at progressives.

The #1 agenda item of corporate America is to "fast track" secret trade deals written by corporations down the American people's throats. And Obama is their #1 ally.

Americans are so lucky to have bold populist fighters like Elizabeth Warren and Sherrod Brown fighting for us.

The White House never attacked Republican Leader Mitch McConnell the way they are attacking Elizabeth Warren and Sherrod Brown.

The best defense is a good offense. Donate $3 to re-elect these bold progressives and show that attacking them only makes them stronger.

These heroes remain independent voices because of the support of people like us. Thanks for being a bold progressive.

-- Keith Rouda, PCCC Organizer

Want to support the Warren Wing? Senator Elizabeth Warren says, "PCCC members were with me since the beginning -- even before there was a beginning! Now, we have lots of work to do together." Chip in $3 to help push Warren's ideas in 2015 and 2016.

BREAKING: Big Medicare cuts in the TPP deal

I didn't think it was possible -- but the Trans-Pacific Partnership just got a lot worse.

There's a big -- brand new -- attack on Medicare that's just been added in the Senate to the Fast Track bill for the TPP. The bill would cut a whopping $700 million from Medicare, hurting seniors who need access to health care.

That's right, Republicans insisted on cutting Medicare spending to pay for a Trade Adjustment Assistance program that Democrats got added to the bill in order to support workers who lost their jobs due to trade deals like the TPP.

This is ridiculous. If Senators are concerned about the impact of the TPP on jobs, then they should reject the the Fast Track bill that makes it possible -- especially if the plan to pay for it comes out of the pockets of seniors who rely on Medicare to survive.

The Senate is about to vote again on Fast Track for the TPP. President Obama is pressuring Democrats to vote for it, even with this cut to Medicare. We have just a few days to stop them.

Medicare is already under threat from Republican budget cuts. This $700 million cut would make matters much worse.

This new cut would erode Medicare's capacity to ensure seniors and others have access to medical services. It pits Americans who need assistance because of a trade deal that cost them their job against Americans who need Medicare.

We stopped the Fast Track bill a few days ago in the Senate. Now Democrats are coming under intense pressure from big corporations and the White House to reverse their position and back this bad deal. Now is the time to stand up and stop this attack on Medicare and on jobs.

Thank you for taking a stand to protect Medicare.
