With a week-and-a-half left until the Oct. 5 special town meeting, The Gazette has put together a quick list of articles of interest for the benefit of Middleboro voters, including articles that seek funding for a feasibility study relative to a new Middleborough High School, to have the town purchase land off of Wood Street for conservation purposes, and to fund construction of a “frisbee golf course”, among others. 1. ARTICLE 9: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate and/or transfer a sum of money from free cash, another specific available fund, the Stabilization Fund, an existing appropriation or account, available source for the purchase of electronic paystubs for town departments, or anything thereon.
