Lakeville voter registration and absentee voting deadlines

LAKEVILLE -- Residents who want to vote int he March 1 Presidential Primary have until Feb. 10 to register. Town Clerk Lillian M. Drane's office will be open until 8 p.m. on Feb. 10 for anyone who is not already a registered voter in Lakeville.
Absentee ballots for the primary have arrived. Voters who won't be in town between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on the day of the primary may cast an absentee ballot. Ballots can be cast at the town clerk's office between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays; 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; and Fridays from 8 a.m. until noon. Voters can request, in writing, that a ballot be mailed. Direct relatives may also file a form to request a ballot for a family member.
Absentee voting over the counter will end on Monday, Feb. 29 at noon. Please call the Town Clerk’s office at (508) 946-8800 if you have any questions.
