Breaking: Istanbul airport explosions: 28 dead, 60 injured, Turkish official says | 28 June 2016 |Updated 6:45 p.m. ET. At least 28 people have been killed and 60 wounded in a terror attack on Istanbul Ataturk Airport in Turkey, Istanbul Gov. Vasip Sahin said early Wednesday. Three bombers were also killed, the governor said. Another report, from semi-official news agency Anadolu, said six of the wounded are in critical condition. A total of 49 ambulances were sent to the site.
 
Dozens killed in Istanbul terror attack; FAA suspends all U.S. flights to, from Ataturk airport | 28 June 2016 | The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration on Tuesday afternoon suspended all American flights to and from Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul, Turkey, after an attack there killed more than two dozen people and wounded many others. The airport was rocked by gunfire and bomb explosions in what appeared to be a coordinated militant attack, witnesses and authorities said.

Three suicide bombers detonated their explosives at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul after police fired shots at them, it's reported. At least 60 people are believed to have been injured while hero taxi drivers ferried wounded people from the terminal.
 
EgyptAir black box is successfully repaired as Paris prosecutor opens manslaughter probe into jet crash that left 66 people dead | 28 June 2016 | A flight recorder recovered from the doomed EgyptAir jet, which killed 66 people when it crashed into the Mediterranean Sea in May, has been repaired. Flight MS804 - carrying 56 passengers and 10 crew members from Paris to Cairo - went down about halfway between the Greek island of Crete and Egypt's coastline, or around 175 miles offshore, after take-off from Charles de Gaulle Airport. Before it disappeared from radar screens around 2.45am Cairo time (12.45am GMT), the plane spun all the way around and suddenly lost altitude.
 
Gunman shoots 1 in downtown Denver, kills self | 28 June 2016 | Police say a gunman walked into a busy downtown Denver office building and shot a person multiple times before turning the gun on himself. Police spokesman Doug Schepman says the gunman, whose name has not been released, was found dead when SWAT officers arrived. The female victim was taken to a hospital, but her condition has not been released.
 
Reports of active shooter at Alliance Center in Denver --Denver Police Department confirmed report | 28 June 2016 | There are reports of an active shooter at the Alliance Center in Denver, Colorado. Jake Williams, executive director of Healthier Colorado, sent a tweet to staff Tuesday afternoon: "There is an active shooter at the Alliance Center. If you're one of my colleagues in building, get out."
 
Donald Trump targets globalization and 'free trade' as job-killers | 28 June 2016 | While attacking Hillary Clinton and other career politicians, Donald Trump took aim Tuesday at two other prominent election targets: globalization and free [sic] trade. "Globalization has made the financial elite who donate to politicians very, very wealthy...but it has left millions of our workers with nothing but poverty and heartache," Trump told supporters during a prepared speech targeting 'free trade' in a nearly-shuttered former steel town in Pennsylvania. In a speech devoted to what he called "How To Make America Wealthy Again," Trump offered a series of familiar plans designed to deal with what he called "failed trade policies" -- including rejection of the proposed [deadly] Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) with Pacific Rim nations and re-negotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) with Canada and Mexico, withdrawing from it if necessary.
 
3 Missing, 1 Injured After Two Trains Collide Head-On in Fiery Texas Crash --Both trains are from BNSF railway company - Joe Faust, director of public affairs for BNSF in Texas | 28 June 2016 | Three crew members were missing and one was injured after two trains crashed head-on Tuesday in a fiery crash in northern Texas. The trains collided just before 8:30 a.m. local time (9:30 a.m. ET) east of Panhandle, Texas, along Highway 60, according to Panhandle City Hall officials. Officials said the city was draining its water supply to fill fire trucks' tanks as it desperately tried to quell the flames.
