Enough is enough

I'm sure you heard about House Democrats' historic marathon sit-in on the House floor calling for Republicans to finally join us in acting to stop gun violence.

 

I am proud to say we held the floor for nearly 26 hours. 

 

How did Speaker Ryan respond? By steamrolling and forcing the House to adjourn for the July 4th recess.

Clearly they're more afraid of the NRA and a real debate about guns than they are of the American people.

 

But we're not backing down. Congressman John Lewis, a civil rights icon and living legend, helped lead this call for action and we won't stop now. #NoBillNoBreak #GoodTrouble
