We did it! It's been a long journey, but it was worth it. Massachusetts voted NO on Question 2 and we are keeping the cap on charters.
Thank you to everyone who joined the movement to save our public schools. If you held a sign, canvassed, made phone calls, or donated, YOU stopped Question 2.
Our opponents outspent us with a record breaking $23.1 million, but that didn't stop our dedicated group of parents, educators, students, and community members in standing up and saying 'No.' This movement isn't over, but this is an important victory. If you're dedicated to improving public education for all students click here. After you get a well-deserved break, we will be in touch about next steps.
Once again, thank you for your commitment to #NoOn2.
Thank you,
Marisol Santiago and the whole NO on 2 team!
P.S. If you're in the area, stop by our victory party at Fairmont Copley Plaza, 148 St. James Avenue in Boston.
