Republican Sour Grapes!

Eric Fehrnstrom joins the list of Sour Grapes Republicans willing to assess blame for voter rejection Ups and downs of a digital-age campaign. His solution? Citizen-journalists and bloggers need to provide links to websites that contain factual data backing up their assertions. These connections add credibility. And while Internet libel suits can be difficult to win, they should be pursued more often.
.
The desperation is worthy of SNL comedy writers and may provide fodder now that Sarah Palin has been drawn and quartered by none other than FAUX News.
.
So, let's blame the bloggers instead of Willard's own record, as minimal as it is. And by blaming the invisible bloggers, you don't have to open the closet door and subject the darkened interior of the sleazy Republican sabotage to glaring scrutiny of your own cannibals. Robocalling and Election Fraud anyone?
.
Governor Willard 'Mitt' Romney served the Commonwealth for a single term. He campaigned for President from his inauguration and was carefully scripted, most notably by Eric Fehrnstrom. Governor Willard 'Mitt' Romney's tenure was Administration by spokesperson, customarily Eric Fehrnstrom, and for each state emergency, Willard was forced to return from out of state. Each public emergency at which Willard spoke unscripted revealed him to be an inept airhead, much like Sarah Palin. He bought Dunkin' Donuts, among the largest employers in the state NOT providing health care for its employees at the time he was promoting universal coverage to be paid for by individuals.
.
That Governor Romney's Lt. Governor failed to prevail, reveals public sentiment about his tenure.
.
Republicans believe that ALL public pensions are BAAADD, well, unless you can feed at the public trough yourself, that is.
.
Hacks gone wild -- special Fehrnstrom edition!
Governor Mitt Romney has installed his most prominent aide, Eric Fehrnstrom, as the state appointee on the Brookline Housing Authority, a move that will allow Fehrnstrom to qualify for a state pension when he reaches retirement age.
.
Fehrnstrom, who earns close to $160,000 and is scheduled to leave his state job Jan. 4, would have been nearly two years short of the decade of service required of state employees to vest in the pension system. The five-year housing authority term will allow Fehrnstrom, the governor's communications director, to exceed the 10-year threshold and be vested.

.
UPI (the Mooney wire service) offers the following: Topic: Eric Fehrnstrom
.
Eric Fehrnstrom quotes
.
Liar, liar
Romney’s communications director, Eric Fehrnstrom, used to be Malone’s deputy treasurer. And Romney’s chief of staff, Beth Myers, held the same position with Malone. We’re not saying that Lindstrom, Fehrnstrom, and Myers were aware of the embezzling and did nothing. But let’s face it, the biggest theft of state property in the history of the Commonwealth took place under their noses. Should they really be rewarded with plum positions in Romney’s administration?
.
... O’Brien attacked Romney for his plan to save the state $1.7 billion by getting increased federal reimbursements for Medicaid. In a moment that made O’Brien look like a liar, Romney said he had never made such a claim. He went on to say that everyone knew that increased federal reimbursements for Medicaid were a lost cause. O’Brien looked like an idiot. Of course, Romney was simply lying. Lying face to face to O’Brien. And lying on camera to the Commonwealth’s people.
.
Romney’s campaign had long touted the state’s ability to save millions through increased federal reimbursement of Medicaid. And it’s one of the things he’s now claiming the state can do to save money. But he no longer claims the state can save $1.7 billion; he now says it could simply save millions through increased reimbursements.

.
It’s amazing that Romney hasn’t served a day in office, and yet he comes to the job with so much contempt for the public. But this shouldn’t necessarily be a surprise. Romney comes to the public sector — a noble place to build a career despite what Romney would have had you believe during the campaign — from the corporate world. In other words, the world that’s given us Enron, ImClone, Tyco, Adelphia.

.
Fault the internet when you don't like the message, but it serves as a repository for access to a great deal of factual information.
.
Willard outspent Shannon O'Brien, was it 2 to 1? And only won by a slim majority amidst some pretty negative campaign ads.
.
Romney is 2012? Don't bet on it!
