Massachusetts has a great delegation that works hard for ALL Americans and our future.
Please consider supporting those officials against the Republican Extremists.
In an article titled “Republicans Against Retirement” (no kidding), The New York Times had this to say about Social Security:
“The retirement program is, of course, both extremely popular and a long-term target of conservatives, who want to kill it precisely because its popularity helps legitimize government action in general."
I call that the Republican Paradox. Extremists come to Washington claiming Congress doesn’t work, then they purposefully stop the government from functioning to prove their point. Apparently, that paradox extends even to Social Security.
This is the anti-family, anti-logic agenda we’re working against. We have to fight back, and this month, that means raising $10,000 to hit our biggest FEC goal of the year. Can you give $5 or $10 to get us off to a strong start?

Republicans have an historic animosity toward the social safety net -- and there’s no program more important to the fabric of that net than Social Security.
Nearly one million people in Massachusetts are aged 65 or older. Almost 90% of them receive Social Security benefits. And the program is responsible for keeping 322,000 Massachusetts seniors out of poverty.
Today, Republicans want to privatize Social Security, or raise the retirement age. They call these “reforms.” If they think breaking down this vital safety net is the definition of “reform,” they may need to glance at a dictionary.
We cannot allow Social Security to fall victim to the Republican Paradox. Help kickstart our $10,000 FEC goal and continue to fight for our priorities. Give what you can today.
I’m incredibly grateful for all that you’ve done for me and this network up to this point. I hope I can continue counting on you to help us protect Social Security.
