VoteVets.org: Let's beat David Vitter

VoteVets.org

Three weeks from today, we have a chance to make history in Louisiana:

West Point graduate, Airborne Ranger, and Democratic candidate for governor John Bel Edwards leads Republican David Vitter by twelve points. Twelve points! No one expected this, and the special interests are sure to rally to Vitter's cause in the final days of the campaign.

Help John over the finish line with your $5 contribution today.

You already know about David Vitter's shameful voting record in the United States Senate on veterans issue - including his NO vote on the comprehensive veterans' health care and benefits legislation last year.

John Bel Edwards will be a breath of fresh air. As a state legislator, he authored and pushed for dozens of bills protecting veterans and the benefits they've earned. These bills include expanding eligibility for veterans' housing, recreating the Department of Veterans Affairs in the state, and reversing budget cuts that harmed veterans in Louisiana.

Early voting starts soon, and if John maintains this lead he'll bank a lot of votes that can't be recouped by Vitter, even if the race gets closer. Make your $5 contribution today and let's win this thing.

All my best,

Jon Soltz
