Do yourself a favor and turn off MSNBC....

Our NEW Nation, in its infancy, broke groundwork for which we should be rightly proud.
The First Amendment is envied by many and today's events reveal those in other nations being arrested, killed, tortured, executed for attempted to exercise that right.

As a nation, we have failed out Founders by allowing MEDIA CONSOLIDATION and sacrificing our INDEPENDENT MEDIA.

US Corporate Media PROPAGANDA MACHINES and Fox News = Fake News = CULT have become a pathetic representation of NEWS....

Kiss that FREEDOM OF THE PRESS goodbye!

MSNBC has jumped the shark into "progressive Fox News" territory,
and liberals should cut the cord.

Of Course ALL the Media is now Controlled and Highly Biased:

… AND, They Can Never Let a Candidate Win, who genuinely threatens to bring about the Return of Fairly Funded Elections.

Please Share this entire post to anyone who may still be wondering: "What's the deal with the media and Bernie Sanders & whoever/ whatever is next?" Campaign Finance Reform should be priority #1, not just for the upcoming elections, but right now.

The FCC & FTC Rules changed under Reagan and Bush, allowed for the Legality of FOX NEWS. But instead of "Fixing" This horrible move, it was Bill Clinton who made things much worse. Clinton further diminished "The Fairness Doctrine", and went on to Deregulate Media Ownership rules (Laws?), thus allowing for today's "Media Monopolies". Like Obama after Him, never made a real effort for Campaign Finance Reform, leading to Citizens United.

So, it should go without saying that News and Television Networks get their income via the adverting dollars of their sponsors. Nobody in this business is going to help elect ANY candidate that poses a threat to the enormous influx of revenue that flows with every campaign season. In fact, as most will notice the News remains biased 365 day a year, just to keep their cash cows happy. To the Media, "It's only good business".

Do yourself a favor and turn off MSNBC

February 18, 2016

Once upon a time, MSNBC was quite the respectable news network. It offered intelligent and thoughtful news reporting and analysis, and even if it did sometimes come from a liberal viewpoint, it was typically fact-laden and accurate. But fortunes shift. MSNBC has changed ownership and has since morphed into something almost unrecognizable. Instead of being an honest news outlet for intelligent liberals, it’s morphed into an attempt at a “progressive Fox News” right down to the simplistically dishonest pandering. It’s time to turn MSNBC off, at least for now.

The decline of MSNBC is no more evident than with Rachel Maddow, who has long been consistently the smartest and most insightful person in television news. Over the past few months her nightly show has parted ways with the intelligent analysis in favor of empty progressive cheerleading. Maddow, along with most of her cohorts on the network, now spend half their time negatively fetishizing over Donald Trump in the same manner that Fox News negatively fetishizes over President Obama. And if it’s not clear who MSNBC’s new target audience is, the other half of the network’s time is spent pandering to politically illiterate people on the left. But Maddow’s slide into unwatchability is a mere symptom of the network’s problems.

Chris Hayes, who used to get knocked by some for coming off as too egg headedly intelligent, aired a dishonestly edited clip of Bill Clinton this week which was aimed at creating the illusion he had criticized President Obama. Hayes ended up apologizing on-air after he got caught. This approach is now par for the course for MSNBC, and it falls right in line with the network’s sudden willingness to quote outlier polls as if they were the only polls, in the hope of making certain races look closer than they are, so people will keep tuning in.

It’s possible that once the race for President is distilled down to just two final choices, MSNBC will stop treating this election and its various candidates like reality show participants to be manipulated for ratings, and decide to begin actually covering the news again. After all, this new strategy hasn’t been fulfilling its own ratings goals. Instead it’s merely chasing away those who once valued MSNBC as a legitimate news source.
