General (Ret.) Wes Clark: I need to ask you something

Please go to VoteVets.org to subscribe and make a contribution.

Let's support our Veterans!

I have been an advisor to VoteVets since the organization first launched ten years ago. And over the course of that decade, we've fought and won on a number of important issues, and in a number of important elections.

But throughout our time together, it's hard to imagine an election with more opportunity, or potential for peril, than the one ahead.

We have a chance to elect a new generation of veteran leaders to the Senate. We have to stop the Koch Brothers' multi-million dollar campaign to privatize the VA. Republicans are threatening to re-escalate our involvement in the Middle East. And, oh, we have to do everything we can to keep Donald Trump out of the White House.

That's why I have to ask you directly: Can I count on you to contribute to VoteVets right now, before their midnight FEC fundraising deadline? I am asking because it's important.

There is probably no more important and trustworthy voice for progressives than the veterans and military family members who count themselves as VoteVets supporters. When they appear in ads, people listen. When they write letters to local newspapers, people read them.

In election after election since 2006, VoteVets has played an outsized role. That's why your contribution is so important, and why I have to ask you to make one before midnight tonight.

All my best,

General (Ret.) Wes Clark
